DEBRECEN VS LIVERPOOL - Time to do a "bermenstein"

Liverpool Football Club - Games

The game was sh.it - we started of quickly and brightly then as soon as the news of the lyon game come through it affected the players and they lost any urgency ,willing or passion and just went through the motions and it nearly cost us a much needed win in the end .

Yossi should of come on earlier - for either lucas or kuyt .

Rafa is making stranger decisions by the days... bringing in Aquilani on the 90th?

Whelan has said nothing positive about rafa ever since he arrived - has done nothing but slate him for the last 5 years . Redknapp loves the sound of his own voice and how the hell would craig johnstone know all the way over in Aus ?!?!?

Aldo,Rush Mac Ateer etc are all here in merseyside seeing what goes on .

don't slag off craig 'skippy' johnston - feck me you can't even spell his name right, so you feck off an learn some respect an acknowledge when legends who have graced the famous red shirt voice an opinion.

they are entitled to it- theyv'e been there done it etc etc..

BTW saint - totally agree mate - they were there for the taking tonight bigtime! that is the thing that p1ssed mr off more than the result elsewhere, cause when ever you have to rely on other results it makes things even worse, not killing off teams when in front this season has really cost us so far. but i will remain optamistic for the rest of the season,as that is the only way i know with following LFC all these years, i take the rough with the smooth- the glory & the pain!

Out of the Champions League. Out of the Premiership race. All before the end of November. Another fookin' shyte season. Well done one and all.

Oh, and nice touch bringing on Aquilani to shake a few hands just before the final whistle blows....well done Rafa

My last word on it ..... hopefully.

So you would prefer it if the ex players didn't give their honest opinion, but just lied and said everything in the garden is rosy?

The team is a shambles.

All they could manage was a lousy 1-0 and luck played a big part in that.

The Hugarians were one of the worst teams I have ever seen play a match and Liverpool could only manage a single flimsy goal against them. In fact they nearly gave away a goal at the end. How many shots did Liverpool have on target? Three? Four?

Pathetic.

The best player in a Liverpool shirt tonight was probably Agger. The rest were very poor. I lost count of how many times Kuyt passed the ball backwards. Lucas was his usual awful self. A terrible, terrible player. Insua was mind boggling at times. Gerrard's heart didn't seem in it at all and bar the knock in (and one more decent shot), N'Gog was pretty dreadful IMO. His control and touch for the most part was rubbish. But, of course, he was stranded alone in Benitez's favorite formation.

Honestly, I'd hate to see what a decent side like Arsenal, Chelsea or Utd would have done to Debrecen.

I would prefer it if they didnt say a word - there is enough sh.it being spouted in the press by journos creating headlines without them putting their two pence worth in . Yes we are playing poor and we need to turn it around and the ex players sticking the knife in are not helping one little bit - If they havent got anything positive to say to try and help the club and team out , then dont say anything at all .

To be fair Saint, Whelan is in all honesty a complete pain in the hoop to listen to. Unfortunately he's one of the panelists on Irish TV and he's always in his element when Liverpool play. The only time I've seen him compliment us in recent times was - surprise! surprise! - after the Manure game. Every other time he rips us - and Rafa in particular - apart.

You'd have to say, and I agree in fact - we have regressed so much this season in TWO MONTHS, it is thoroughly depressing. No Aquilani on tonight, for example. Dossena on instead ? What the fook is he keeping Aquilani for - a baptism in the bleedin' Merseyside derby ?? FFS, what planet is the man on ?
