What a daft comment. He's a kid, learning his trade, and has shown some pretty deft touches in recent games. He has more skill, more of an attitude, and is more of a team player than that spanner Voronin. PLUS, N'gog is lashing in the goals at U21 level. Deffo keep him.

Ha learning his trade?.....if he had any potential he would have shown it by now...FFS he's almost 20 yrs old....owen, fowler Gerrard and Rushie had all learnt their trade by the time they were 19 so dont come out with that old excuse FFS he is :censored:  stop making excuses for him.

yeah great idea. we're short on striking options so lets get rid of another one.

the kid's got 4 goals in 7 appearances this season.

Yeah I accept times are changing, Stevie G and others from all teams have dived but it doesn't mean I have to like it, say it's ok because it got us a point when we derserved the three points at least. Yeah Carsley is a ex blue nose but a Liverpool player cheated.
It's about supporting the club not about bravado look how tough I am becasue he's ex everton. If he hadn't dived then it would have been a pen. Football is about more than that and every inch of my body as been brought up to support the reds and want them to play the Liverpool way.
I'm not trying to put down peoples comments but it's the way it is.

N'gog is a quite good player . I dont know what do you expect the kid to do ? He scored 4 goals in 7 appearences , got a penalty for Liverpool ( yes he dived it was the only logical decission , come on he made the Birmingham defence look like little kids in that attack ) .

I was impressed by him in the Birmingham game and his goals to games ratio is impressive also. Give the kid a chance. I think he has got ability and is one for the future.

He has reached his "ability Level".....which is average at best?....FFS he aint gonna get much better...its ok doin the biz against teams like Brum(a team we should roll over anyway) but against the better teams he is found out and dont give me the cr@p about the goal he scored against the scum coz' it was put on a plate for him....and he nearly fluffed that! the trouble with "eggy og" is if he has to think he misses his chances...if its put on a plate then even my one eyed two legged cat couldn't miss!.

For a guy that's not getting many games 4 in 7 and a penalty isn't that bad, why slate him when there are others that haven't got any or even try in games.

I know everyone's :censored:-off at the moment but for a young guy who should be playing as many games as he can at this stage in his career what can you expect from him? I'm actually pro Rafa, but in all honesty he doesn't give enough game time to our younger players. For one Kelly would have played in all the games where Degen was on the field, and Ngog should be on long before Voronin's even pulled on his tracksuit. I could go on but i'm not out for bashing Rafa on here, as i also wouldn't be bashing Ngog, the guy tries his hardest and is getting results- what more can he do to please you?

All this cr.ap about 'he's brought shame on Liverpool by diving' - get a grip!! The guy had to avoid Carsley and quite rightly made sure he wasn't going to lose the advantage he had put himself in. You'd all be panning him if he'd simply stopped or pulled out of the challenge.

So you are comparing him to three best players of their generation (world class). That makes sense  :upside:  The kid is young for fecks sake, how about some support  :no

If we look at someone like Ian Wright he was playing Sunday league football until he was nearly 22 when he signed for Crystal Palace following trials. It was then 6 years until he signed for Aresenal when he 28. Wright went on to be the club's top scorer for six seasons in a row.

So if you say all top players have learnt their trade by the time they were 19 then you're not necessarily correct.

what a load of drivel.what the hell were you expecting anyway for £1.5m?

his touch is good. in the last game his movement in the first half was excellent too. he is also technically a good player. a bit more nous and experience and he could turn into a very good player.

Stop talking utter rubbish . Those great players you mention like gerrard and rush and fowler etc have missed plenty of those "easy one on ones "

Get a grip with reality and look at the results the lad is producing for us .
