The lad looks like a different player after his goal against manu , confidence must be sky high one of our better players last night

Yeah, riding on the crest of a wave and will probably end up like Dossena - well maybe not entirely as there's more call for striker subs than useless LBs.

Will Rafa have the confidence in N'Gog to give him a game? We were 4-1 up vs Hull so Rafa brings on Babel AND Voronin and leaves N'Gog on the bench. Sure Babel helped himself to a couple of goals, but is he or Voronin better (long term prospects) than N'Gog? Perfect chance to give N'Gog a chance and he wastes it on Voronin and Babel - Babel's only two goals of this season so far, and despite his lack of real anything, he's played in 10 of our 15 games this season (six of the seven defeats)

WTF are you talking about - Rafa has given him chances - started him against Lyon and Last night then brought him against Man Utd instead of players like Voronin and Babel ?!

Perhaps you should watch games a little harder than you claim to, perhaps because you dismiss stats you have no awareness of real hard facts, things like playing time, appearances etc.

We've played FIFTEEN games this season, N'Gog started the TWO Carling Cup games in which we field second string players, started against Lyon because Torres was injured and has accumulated less than a half of football in his other appearances this season. That tots up to around 3.5 games of football, you'd probably agree Cavalieri plays only the odd game here and there and he's on 2.0 games.

Perhaps you need a better balanced view

Interesting that N'Gog has made only seven appearances, 288 minutes I believe in total with just three starts, and has scored three goals. The earliest of his goals is his 66th minute winner vs Lids, the other two scored in the dying minutes of the game and not changing the result.

Birmingham angry at 'cheat' Ngog

Birmingham's Carsley believes Ngog dived to win a penalty

Birmingham midfielder Lee Carsley has described the penalty won by Liverpool in the 2-2 draw at Anfield as an "embarrassing case of cheating".

David Ngog went to ground after a Carsley tackle, despite no contact appearing to have been made, and Steven Gerrard converted from the spot.

"I was absolutely nowhere near him," Carsley told ESPN. "That is just an embarrassing case of cheating.

Blues manager Alex McLeish also accused the French striker of diving.

He told BBC Radio 5 live: "It happens and has done for years.

"The referee Peter Walton didn't get that one right and when he looks at it again I am sure he will agree.

"We take it on the chin and we move forward with our magnificent performance."

Birmingham fought back from 1-0 down to lead through goals from Christian Benitez and Cameron Jerome before defending resolutely as they hoped to seal a famous victory.

And, although Liverpool scored the penalty to equalise, Birmingham held on for a point.

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez conceded he had his own doubts as to whether the incident merited a penalty but he insisted that a draw was the very least his side had deserved.

"I haven't seen the replay but maybe it wasn't a penalty. I still think that we deserved to win anyway," he stated.

"Possibly it wasn't a penalty but we have had a lot of situations during the year and one for us I think is not the worst."

The draw leaves a struggling Liverpool seventh in the top flight, while McLeish wants his 15th-placed side to build on their determined showing.

"I have to say that the players were awesome. They have gone up in my estimation with that performance," added McLeish.

"The resilience, winning mentality, the spirit - there are lots of superlatives I could use - but it was a great performance to come to Anfield and get a point, which could have been three.

"We keep saying to the players 'you should grow in confidence and your mentality should get tougher' after good performances at Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal.

"Then sometimes you think a lot of these lads are still learning in the Premier League so will we go to one of the big grounds and lose heavily?

"The quality Liverpool have, you wonder if that is round the corner but they rose to it again and now they have to be looking to get some more points and climbing that table."

It was indeed an epic dive

But that Chucho bloke had his fair share of diving and its not like we didnt deserve to equalise!!
