Quite good that mate. Course you can comment "where you want" "lad", I was just a bit lost by your reference to a collision when I was talking about "ball watching".

One isn't connected to the other (as presumeably you know ) so I was at a loss to know what to say really. I figured the best way to go was to answer the question honestly (ie, no I'm not talking about the clash of heads) and point you in the direction of somewhere where it explained what I was on about. Seemed like the best way to go under the circumstances.

Well there is that I suppose . What I meant though, was that Carra's game these days is one built on doggedness and stickability, on marshalling those around him and using his experience to be in the right spot. He probably needs less the "commanding" aspect than he does someone who can play a bit, as his distribution hasn't got any better. Equally, though he's not the fastest you don't often see him get embarrassed for pace (except by Thierry Henri maybe) so the pace element would be slightly less important than the aerial ability.

I was just bending it a bit to give Upson a mention to tell the truth Joe, as I think that by a distance he would have been our best option. Unfortunately for us and indeed for the manager, the reports are that he agreed but that the owners blocked the transfer.

No . Being "at a loss" isn't the same as being "lost for words", not in my language anyway. "At a loss" on this occasion was more that I was astounded by the question, particularly as in some of your previous posts you have demonstrated that you have a clue.


I notice that on each thread you are getting involved in you are almost without fail honing in on my "novels", which is entirely your privilage and you should go for your life. As long as the discussion is nice and cordial as well as being football based, all is good.

  My guess is that we have previous under your earlier moniker, which once again is cool but I must say I prefer this avatar to the last one, although that one was quite good too in fairness.
