Not that I think Lucas has been brilliant, but a lot of people on here are just jumping on the hate Lucas bandwagon. He hasn't been our worst performer by a long shot today, or in previous games from what I've seen.

Mascherano, Gerrard and Torres who were our 3 best outfield performers last year have not been playing anywhere near that level yet this season, that's why we're leaking goals, combined with the injuries to our defense. And as I've said, Kyrgiakos has looked shaky to put it kindly.

The greek defender looks more clumsy than traore.....Another crappy signing.... And ppl wonder why we don't have enough $$$. If i was the owner, i wouldn't give benitez $$$ too. :angry:

Get rid of Lucas.....Get rid of Kuyt. Johnson does a better job than Kuyt as a RW.

Jesus......this is getting ridiculous. Benitez is screwing up my team.

The Greek gave away the ball in dangerous areas and gave away the free that lead to the corner that they scored from...thats how much he is out of his depth

Riera's been good mate... he's been giving those through passes to Torres... but they've been giving the rough treatment to Torres again and the ref's doing little to protect him... it's as if the whole league's mid and low table teams' defense have turned their attention on Torres now that Greaseball is gone...

Most of you need to calm down - 1-1 at half time, why panic?

Lucas hasn't been that bad - but pulling that player down on the edge of the box
was just stupid. No excuses for doing something daft like that.

Gerrard and Torres will play way better if they have quality players around them......Not idiots like lucas and Kuyt. We are not being fair on those 2. It seems they have to be at their optimum best to carry this team through every match.

Which game are you watching? One play in particular, he pointed back as if to say "I'm sending the ball back", and then very cleverly played a pass forward...to a Bolton player. And as has been mentioned he gave away the clumsy foul that ultimately led to the goal
