Absolutely agree with that. Carra looked straight at Skrtel who was clearly commited to going for the ball and still went for it causing the clash that has meant we've lost Skrtel for 2-3 weeks

I reckon he is p*sh mate.
I really hope I am proven wrong as with Skrtel and Agger now out injured he is almost certain to make his debut against Villa on Monday night....against Carew, Heskey, Agbon and Young

So was Eric Meijer
I think the point he is making is like a cult hero due to his playing style etc
That is what I meant mate.
Eric Meijer would do a better job at CB than this greek streak of p*sh. I really really hope he proves me wrong but IMO this guy is brutal

Nice to see he has the backing of the fans before he even puts on a shirt just like Aqualini

Not for the first time you're commenting on one of my posts and getting yourself all in a muddle. The answer to your question is no it isn't a dig at the collision between him and Carragher. Do you know what I mean by "ball watching", it's just that yours is a very strange question indeed
I'd have a wee look in the Skyrtel thread, there's bound to be an explanation of my view in there. Once you understand what I'm actually on about then you can comment from there.

Will defend players all the time mate where i see fit but its very discouraging to see people slagging off players before they have even pulled the shirt on .

Do you mean he has a tendancy to check other players shorts out then Mick?
I agree Skrtel does lose his man quite a bit, and he also seems to lose concentration at times, but with Agger likely to be out for some time I think we will have to accept that freekicks and corners are going to be a problem for a while.

Well I do agree with you on this... for what it's worth I don't think that this Greek guy is that bad. He's got a scoring record which is decent for a defender like Sami. And he is big and tall and good in the air like Sami. Also I tend to believe more in our greek member than the ranger fans who has commented on here.

Exactly mate - he will be 4th choice at the end of the day and seems to bring a big physical prescence with him which can only be good for us .

To be honest, it's admirable that many here are accentuating the positives. And I have to say, fair play, and let's hope he DOES have a positive impact on the team if and when he does play.
But come on, when you read here or elsewhere that we were linked with players like Shawcross or Turner, and see that we've signed up somebody who played in a rubbish league like the SPL, then for FSV Frankfurt (believe me, I lived in Frankfurt, watch a load of German football, and it's not up to the same level as the Premiership) and then goes off to play for Stavros FC.....you gotta say "what the hell are we at..."
That's not to say that Shawcross or Turner are any better either....

Pellegrino Mk II
My main reservation, besides he might be
but then he might not be, is his age. Time will tell if he is a good signing.
Doesn't Rafa show faith in Babel? More than most on here would..................... And Babel is a fine example - of how badly you can play and stay at Anfield!
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
