Is he physically strong or not?

Do you think he will make a positive impact at LFC?

Thanks
Reg

yes, he is always injured and he isn't physically strong.
I Think he is a good player, nothing else. LFC is more strong and difficult than serie A and i don't know how many matches he can play. This is my opinion and the most of fan in italy are agree with me  :)
It must be a reason if Inter,Milan, Juventus want a midfied but Aquilani isn't in their planes.
Silva, Sneijder  :oh:
Do you want Vieira? :D

Sorry for English...

edit: Mexes said he would stay at Roma. Roma sells Aquilani,Baptista,Menez, Vucinic and Juan.

I would love it if we took Aquilani, Vucinic and Juan off them.

Too easy

I'm not sure Gerrard and Mascherano midfield would work though.  It looks good on paper, but I think that midfield would be too disjointed and it would lack creativity.

Also this team is not built to play a 442 formation, so we should just get a creative CM, good back up for Torres and decent 4th choice CB.

Agent - Reds in for Defour

Liverpool interest in Standard Liege playmaker confirmed

Steven Defour's agent has confirmed that Liverpool are keen on the Belgian star.

Real Madrid have joined the hunt for the Standard Liege playmaker, who has previously been the target of Everton and Aston Villa.

Real were considering Defour should they not sign Xabi Alonso from Liverpool, who are also viewing him a replacement for the Spaniard.

Roma's Alberto Aquilani remains a target for Rafa Benitez, but Defour is also very much on the radar for the Anfield club, who are expected to sell Alonso to Real this week.

Standard have insisted that they will not be parting company with their prized asset but, Defour feels that is not the case.

"I have an agreement with Standard Liege that I could go to a top club, and Liverpool fit the bill," the 21-year-old is quoted by the English press.

And his agent, Paul Stefani, has confirmed that Liverpool are keen on Defour.

"Steven's name has been mentioned not only at Real Madrid, but also at Liverpool - they are looking at him too," he told the Daily Mail.

"Normally he would stay for another year, but nobody could say no to clubs like those - and Liege would not stand in his way."

to be honest I couldn't tell you the difference in ability between Defour and Aquilani - but seeing as Defour doesn't come with his own treatment table, I'm inclined to favour the Standard Liege midfielder

He's very very highly rated and tore everton apart when they played  standard . Would love him here and has the potential to be world class , even better than xabi but rafa hasn't exactly done miracles with younger players now has he , than again he'd get more games here than madrid.

He's not that young.. he' 21.  Wasnt Alonso 22 when he joined us?
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Aquilani's 25, so if Dafour's cheaper, that's another reason to opt for the belgian

21, 22, 23....jaysus lads, stop splitting hairs here - ye sound like Statto ! :p

I see that Real are also after yer man Defour....They'd probably get him a lot cheaper than Xabi - wouldn't be surprised if they opt for him instead. And Defour would make a helluva lot more Net each week over there than at Anfield - if he had any sense, he'd go there....
