They should be. Imo they are the key players in this team.

It was an absolute pearl of a header.  Gutted that Xavi's free-kick didn't go in, as that was just sublime as well.  :buttrock

Barca were awesome all round.. ended up looking like a practice match for them , nobody made United look so bad since we did in their own back garden  :D

Seriously united should be beatin them, if Rafa had those players against Barca players i am 1000000% certain that he would win.

So much for the tactiacl master.

Barca last season play united, get suffocated and stopped from playing (lfc style imo) and lose over two legs.
They play Chelsea who emply the exact same tactics and creep through, very fortunately imo.

They play united in the final and the arrogant cnts play a stretched expansive game and get picked off.
Tactically naive and played into an under strength barcas hands, will 'the oracle' fergie get crticised ?

Probably not.

EPIC FAIL

http://www.manchester.gov.uk/site/sc...hp?newsID=4753

Manchester motorists are advised that there will be a number of road closures in the city centre on Thursday 28 May for the proposed Manchester United Victory Parade.

The Parade will go ahead if Manchester United beat rivals Barcelona in the final of the UEFA Champions League in Rome on Wednesday night.

But if Manchester United do not win, the Parade and road closures will not take place.

If Manchester United do win, the majority of the closures in Manchester city centre will start from 6am on Thursday, but there will be others during the day, some of which are subject to crowd numbers. However, all the restrictions will be over by 10pm.

People are encouraged to use public transport on the day of the parade and to allow additional time for their journeys to and from the city centre. One of the best ways to drive out of the city centre is to go via Albion Street and Medlock St (towards Princess Road) and then use the Mancunian Way.

As an overview for drivers and bus passengers the main points to note are:

* Princess Street (at the side of the Town Hall) and Albert Square will be closed to through traffic from 6am;
* No access to side roads from Deansgate between John Dalton Street and Chester Road roundabout at various times, starting from 12 noon;
* Chester Road roundabout will be closed including the slip roads going onto and off the Mancunian Way from 3pm;
* There will be vehicle access across Deansgate via Gt Bridgewater St and Liverpool Rd until as late as possible (approximately 3pm).

The following is a list of the road closures in detail:

Closures from 6am - 10pm:
Mount St, from Princess St to Lloyd St
Bootle St, from Southmill St to Mount St
Central St, from Southmill St to Mount St
Lloyd St, from Mount St to Southmill St
Albert Sq, from Lloyd St to Cross St
Tasle Alley, from Albert Sq to End of cul-de-sac
Princess St, from Cross St to Cooper St
Clarence St, from Princess St to Booth St
Lloyd St, from Princess St to Cooper St
Lloyd St, from Heron House Southmill St
Jackson's Row, from Synagogue to Southmill St
Bootle St, from Jerusalem Place to Southmill St
Southmill St, from Lloyd St Peter St

In addition, all the slip roads on and off the Mancunian way will be closed from 6am, but the road will still be open to traffic.

Closures from 10am -10pm:
Cross St, from John Dalton St to King St
John Dalton St, from Deansgate to Cross St
Mount St, from Lower Mosley St to Peter St
Peter St, from Lower Mosley St to Deansgate

Closures from 12am - 10pm:
Deansgate, from Peter St to Whitworth St West

Closures from 3pm - 10pm:
Bridgewater Viaduct, from Whitworth St West to Chester Rd
Chester Rd, from Bridgewater Viaduct to Chester Rd in Trafford

Change in traffic regulations
In addition to the closures above, there will be a change in traffic regulations between 6am and 10pm on St Ann St between Deansgate and Cross St so that all general traffic can use the street.

Drivers in the city centre on Thursday are asked to plan their routes with the closures in mind or, alternatively, to use public transport if possible. The closures may also change depending on crowd numbers on the day.
