Call me mad but I prefer Rivery rather than the portugay, and I just hope United don´t sign him the next season.

i think there's not a player i the world that can do what ronaldo has done for them the last 2 years - he's the difference between them and the rest

ORN knows it too

Yes absolutely for the english football, but I don´t see him in the spanish football.

Ribery was getting his pic taken with all the Barca players after the 2nd leg. Im sure he will go there rather than to utd. You could see the way he was acting with the players it was similar to Henry before he went to Barca.

Anyway if Ronaldo goes they will need to bring in a 30goal a season striker. Tevez isnt that and neither is Rooney or Berbatov. They will probably go for Benzema.

Rivery is a bit underrated because he plays for devaluated Bayern, but if he signs for United we are really fuc ked.

I don't care who they sign. They have always been able to afford anyone so it's nothing new for me. If they were signing someone like Zidane in his prime then maybe as he is well.....

But im more woried about who we sign. I just hope it's not more 2nd rate players.

I would buy Tevez if we insisted on him wearing a yashmak ,or failing that the next barbecue the team has at Rooneys house he sh*ts in his pillow case   :D

I get the impression this story is gonna rumble on for the next few weeks at least, I'd love to have him at the club but I can't quite see it happening somehow.

IN DEMAND: Argentinian striker Carlos Tevez is being chased by Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez

Sunday May 17,2009
By John Richardson

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez wants Carlos Tevez – but he isn’t prepared to blow all of his transfer budget on the Argentinian striker.

Manchester United’s reluctance to turn their temporary capture of the popular Tevez into a permanent £26million deal has alerted other clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Benitez would love nothing more than to snatch Tevez away from bitter rivals United.

The Spaniard’s hands are tied, however, when it comes to his spending power, even though a truce has been called between warring co-owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks.

Even if Liverpool were able to negotiate a fee of £20m for Tevez, it would leave Benitez with precious little cash for other transfer targets.

Sacrificing midfielder Xabi Alonso, who almost left for Juventus last summer, is an option but a large proportion of the cash from that deal is earmarked for bringing in Gareth Barry from Aston Villa.

I`ve always thought Xabi is World class but if losing him means bringing in Tevez then I`ll take that sacrifice for the good of the team.i also think we can survive without barry.Buy Tevez, sell Xabi, forget Barry, sell Babel,Leto,Voronin,Dossena and bring in a left winger to play when reira can`t.
In Rafa I trust.

Xabi is going no where, i definatly would not sacrifice him for Tevez, not a chance, Blasphemy .

Although i wouldnt mind him here , an he can pick where he wants to go. But the drunk would be carried out in a box first before he let that happen,

Why can't we just offer Tevez a contract, sign him up and then feck off this little Jorbachin t0sspot and tell him we'll see him in court if he's got a problem with it? We could drag it out for a couple of years what with appeals and all that old b0ll0cks, if we lose we just say "ah feck it you can have him back then". If we win, we get him for free. If half way through his "owner" gets a bit twitchy, we settle for 10 mill and call it quits.

Makes perfect sense to me.
