Let them spend there millions on a player theve already got, that will take them out of the playing field because i cant see them coming up with another 20 or 30 million for anyone else :;):

Leaves Rafa with only the run in to trot, instead of jumping the last fence

Now you put it like that it doesn't seem so bad

Lol thanks, glad to be here cos I've been a Liverpool fan for a long time and it was about time for me to come on a forum like this lol.And i hope that we will win it next season, and i hope that Benitez will get a new striker (apart from Torres) cos i think that they're a bit short on strikers.Any of you guys ever thought of that? And i like your Xabi Alonso picture lol.

Breaking News: Carlos Tevez Announces He Is Joining Liverpool

In a startling twist to the Carlos Tevez "he loves me, he loves me not saga," the man from Argentina has announced that he is joining what he calls "the true Reds" at the end of the season.

This news follows months (if the press are to be believed) of condescending treatment received of Tevez at Manchester United.

Kia Joorabchain, the Iranian born suit who represents the group of investors that own the economic rights to Tevez, said that Liverpool, represented by their godfather Rafael Benitez, made an offer "I and my money grubbing pals couldn't refuse."

The most relieved man to emerge from this saga is the man on the street, who before Tevez's move became official had been forced to endure weeks of the same old crappy headlines and motor-boating tactics used by the British media to make the public care.

Manchester United fans, on the other hand, when told that their talisman had decided to become the first Red Devil to switch to Merseyside in over 20 years, staged a sit-down protest outside Dimitar Berbatov's residence, holding placards saying "go north!', "why not you? why Carlos?" and "do you have any Bulgarian sausage available? We missed lunch."

Sir Alex Ferguson, who said last week that "the fans love a trier" and "that's the great thing about football—a lad who tries can be forgiven for a lot of things," was unavailable for comment.

Rumour has it that that Ferguson was busy stroking Christiano Ronaldo's hair and whispering in his ear "you are better looking than David." Ferguson's publicist, however, denies these allegations.

Rafael Benitez said about his latest acquisition: "Carlos is a very good player. He has the work-rate of a hyperactive gopher and this is what my team needs." When a reporter asked Benitez whether the team actually belonged to the fans, Benitez corrected himself by saying: "My and the shareholders team."

Liverpool captain, and possible candidate for mayor, Steven Gerrard, who reportedly likes to be called "Stevie G" these days, was excited by Tevez's imminent arrival, telling an interviewer on Liverpool radio "I'm excited by Tevez's imminent arrival."

With Manchester United's season not yet finished, Joorabchain said that "Carlos is still focused on winning the title and beating FC Messi in the Champions League final. He just needs to fit it all between travelling to Liverpool for his medical."

When asked about the transfer cost, Benitez referred the press to Liverpool's dynamic Yankee duo Tom Hicks and George Gillett. When the dual-owners were contacted, their secretary said that the pair had gone away to the island of Papua New Guinea to try and re-kindle their flagging relationship.

Some suspect that Liverpool have sold a percentage of the rights to their yet-to-be named new stadium to finance the move, considering how many parties are benefiting from the move. The London Stock Exchange noticed a 10% rise in Liverpool trading, stating that most of the action had originated from Indonesia.

Manchester United's Carlos Tevez rejects £40 million offer to join Real Madrid

Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez is understood to have rejected the opportunity to move to Real Madrid in a deal worth £40 million.
15 May 2009

A report in the Mail adds strength to suggestions that the Argentine has every intention of staying in the Premier League should he leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.

Moreover, Tevez’s “owner” Kia Joorabchian insists that his client’s decision to reject a move to Real is proof enough that money is acting as no incentive when it comes to determining his next move

Real are the first club to have made an official approach to sign the 25-year-old who has been linked with a string of big name clubs since giving a controversial interview last week during which he said he no longer felt wanted at United.

With Tevez’s backers expecting United to stump up £26 million to make his current loan deal permanent, The Sun claims there is in fact a loophole through which he could stay at Old Trafford for free.

The paper quotes East Midlands MEP Chris Heaton-Harris as saying: “Under European law he [Tevez] has the right to break this contract.

“If he went to the European Commission and said he wanted out he would get support. “You can’t keep a person to a contract that he doesn’t want to continue in.”

Admittedly there is nothing to validate suggestions that Tevez would be happy to break from Joorabchian and his backers - and the above is not the only 'get out' clause available to him. United are said to have been investigating how the Bosman rule might be applied to Tevez’s case in the belief that the contract he has with his owners could violate European labour rules.

"Bosman was tied to a football club and Tevez is tied to a company – there is very little difference. It is a simple follow on from Bosman,” Heaton-Harris added.  “The football authorities have been very slow to understand the problems this sort of arrangement causes.

“If the FA and Uefa had come to us with this problem in the first place there would have been none of these contracts and it would have been job done.”

If he breaks his contract then whats to say before others start walking out on their contracts at clubs. But on the flip side what would that Kia guy do if he did? Probably kidnap his family or something, dodgey :censored:.

I don´t think Real madrid will sign Ronaldo, Florentino perez prefers Ribery, because he doesnt like the ronaldo´s manners and his high prize.
