would sign him everyday of the week, proven premier league material and is a real terror to the top 4 as we no. imagine if he came in and formed an outstanding partnership with 'GODS GIFT' Torres ? i bet everyone will be totally lost for words and then say gerrard or torres are injured then he could prove to be pivotal in our team as he has for United this season so much times.

If he's happy to sit on the bench and let Kuyt play, coming in only when Torres or Gerrard are injured, fine - sign him.

If we can get him for £7million then we can't refuse......a good back up if Gerrard needs a rest.

Other than that I think the whole story is cover for our real acquisitions Rafa has in mind.

How would we get him for 7Mil? And anyway he doesn't actually belong to any club so I don't see how that Kia bloke can be asking for 30Mil, or 22Mil in utds case. He as been a free agent for some time now so technically why can't he just move on a bosman? Is that what you are incurring supersub?

Anyway I agree I think it's a smokescreen. Hopefully for Silva.

As much as i would like Silva to play for us, i really want Tevez to play for us. Last night, my friend the Manc was fuming at red nose bcos of the saga and he said he hope Liverpool will sign Tevez and will also score for us against the scum. By the way, he hates Berba.
