you mean in a sense he wasnt played enough by the manager when he was there... id say yes he wasnt the biggest of hits in Spain... but what about his time with Bari, Roma and now Sampdoria ?

Cassano couldn't make an instant impact, among other things because he came with some extra 6Kg which provoked all kind of jokes

Here a joke of the time about his summer form and his work attitude.

Then, after a good while he got fit, and he didn't impress much.

Yes, you can bet any Italian international striker is going to be quality, but in the case of Cassano his proffessionalism and adaptation to anything that it's not his Italy is a big gamble. I don't think Rafa will approach him but that's just my opinion.

i really dont think we should break up the torres gerrard combination by splashing out on another keane that would demand football i think we should use what money we have to buy players to play either side of the torres gerrard partnership with riera and beny as back up

that way we could have kuyt as backup to torres plus we have babel ngog nemeth and pachecco(who i think would be perfect in the gerrard role) 4 promising young forwards that we should try to develope

zlatan is one of the top 5 strikers in the world in my opinion, very lazy but has more talent in his little toe then most strikers in the prem

having said that i wouldnt buy him simple because hes not what we need imo

Oh :censored: don't even mention that overpriced prima donna Zlatan. I'm from Sweden and he is totally overhyped and he has behaved like :censored: in every team he has ever played in. Forced transfers from Malmö, Ajax, Juventus and soon Inter. Bottles it in every big game he has ever played in. Cassano and Totti behave in the same way.

The league is not the same anymore. I remember when Milan and juventus were once teams the were feared and brillant and now look at them. Even lazio, inter and some other crappy teams. The league has just gone quite shyte. Best league at the moment is EPL. Top four have and will dominate europe for a long time and would like to see the EPL teams in uefa cup kicking european a$$

On striking options , i think its time to bring up the youth team players . Money could be spent on goalscoring wingers and strong attacking fullbacks. We have Ngog ,Kuyt ,Babel and perhaps Riera who could play on the striker role if Torres gets injured , on the other hand its an exception if we signed Eto ,he would only make our team much much more stronger .

mmmm... so i come with more names...

Ben Arfa... didnt he have good games against us.... looks a good player imo

Llorente... we're supposedly interested in getting him anyways... watched a Bilbao game the other day and have to admit he looked very impressive... good skills on the ball and looks like he can handle the physical aspects of the english game..

D.Milito... mentioned him at the beggining of the season... hes doing very well in the italian league with a poor side atm.. good player

Cavani.. Mutu....

Yeah Ben Arfa looks good but he would not come cheap. Would love Llorente here as he is a type of player we don't have at the minute so it would good to have that dimension again. I think we were linked with Milito before Torres came but he is quite slow. Not sure if he would cut it over here.

I said martins no one fancy him ?

He reminds me of heskey type he is pretty young still and I feel has every thing needed to partner torres remember we don't want any one better the torres just someone to either being on for impact or to play as a SS and suport torres.
