In Rafa we trust, 0-3.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

It would be typical though and wouldnt surprise me.

If I keep being pessimistic maybe the boys will keep winning.

I'm sorry I am not a superfan like yourself who exects us to steam roller teams over. After the last twenty years I am not that naive in thinking we need to just turn up and win.

Great post.

As for Staunton, even if I preffer positive comments than doom and gloom (and quite honestly I enjoyed that read), maybe I think it's saying too much that Anfield is like the old days. For that we have to win the league first.

It seems even the London papers which are usually quite biased towards local teams are even starting to think we can actually win it. I was reading the Metro today and in a poll 49% thought we would win the league.

We should beat anyone nevermind Fulham on current form.  I Just hope our players are sharp and injury free after the internationals, we can't afford any slip ups.

Utd would have beaten them if Scholes hadn't played catch in the box.  They battered them in the 2nd half but they couldn't get past Schwarzer.  Just wasn't meant to be.

0-2

Pah. Papers. They want to sell papers, so it's good for them to say we're great now.

Papers have not to be believed when they say we're so far from Manchester in quality. But have not be to be believed when they say their praises.

Their praises are like Judas kisses, they can turn around the next week. Literally.
