We want number 19 back in its rightful place! We need to fund our manager who will buy enough talent to land us that prize. Look at the quality he has already got. He will get the best if they give him the money. Lets hope they get it sorted soon.

Paul C

I don't think we can expect Morgan to not interfere, a self made man like Morgan thinks he can run the world and to help run Liverpool can be done in his sleep.

Having said that he looks the best option at the moment, and least his wallets in the right place and the fact that Rafs English isn't that good cud be an advantage.

And it looks like some of the die hards of the forum are waking up to whats goin on outside in the real world.

[QUOTE MADRED]So what your saying is that he didnt think the fans wanted Morgan?  Whos the p***K now?

No what I said was that it's not Moores' job to do what the fans want. We really do need to accept that a) we know very little about the running of a football club at least those of us who have never been lucky en ough to be involved. and b) even if we do have the necessary experience we don't know what's happening behind the scenes at LFC. You know a few details of the Morgan bid but nowhere near enough to hold an opinion of it. Similarly you know very little about the Financial situation at LFC so you really don't know if we need investment or not.

QUOTE MADRED] As for GH he was left dangling by a thread & was treated so unfairly!

No he wasn't he was given to the end of the season to prove he could still do the job he wanted to keep. He failed to convince.  At the end of the season a decision had to made.

[QUOTE MADRED] Do you not remember Morgan needing a police escort into the ground last season? The man was the peoples choice and Moore's should have come to a agreement for us the fans!

Like I say if the fans knew all the facts maybe he wouldn't be the "Peoples Choice". I don't want LFC run like a democracy.

[QUOTE MADRED] Oh and by the way we almost have the permission for our new ground to be given the go-ahead so maybe Morgan might not want to put in now there is no groundshare??

This won't necessarily mean Everton won't be moving in as well.

And on the Owen situation. Owen played it he's been promising everybody he would sign new contract. Maybe they should have brought it to a head earlier but then maybe nobody would pay the money at that time. I don't remember them turning down any bids. The transfer market is what it was.

A final point: I read these forums regularly but rarely contribute as others often say what I think. However there is a tendency on forums for pessimism. Moores' has just funded the signing of some truly exciting players. Alonso was one of the sought after midielders in Europe and Garcia looked handy at the weekend although I thought was a bit surprised by the pace and gave the ball away a bit. He took his goal, and it was a goal, well and has good feet.

The future is rosy we have a quality manager who has bought some quality players. Be positive the Fans affect the mood of the club and if the mood is negative it just puts more pressure on the players.
