"Clueless feckwit"? I think you're allowing your artistic license to get ahead of you mate.

There's only one bunch of people on here who dish out abuse as we all know, and it isn't the "doomers and gloomers". I don't think I've ever seen a doomer and gloomer accuse someone who is pro-Rafa of being a c... because of their opinions, although if you can find quotes I may be correctable. I don't think I've seen a doom and gloomer go on about someone not being a real fan, telling them to "feck off and support someone else then", or saying that that the poster "hopes Liverpool lose". I haven't seen pro Rafa people accused of "spouting bile", I haven't seen their views being attemtped to be dismissed because they haven't and aren't managing a professional team, and I haven't seen where they live and what they do for a living called into the equation.
I've had it all mate, much of it off people who still post on here quite happily. RBG though, with his views won't get any of that, and nor should he.
He might get the odd person who disagrees with him. He might get someone who posts up proof that we've spent the best part of 200 million quid in five seasons, and have a net spend which is more than the Mancs, and about 3 mill a season behind Chelsea. They might put up figures about our "progress" and compare it with other teams. They might talk about Martin O Neills Aston Villa, how Mourinho and Wenger took one year to win the Premierhsip. They might analyse the squad, and ask why we haven't got any cover for our right back, our left midfielder or our striker. They might wonder about the signings, and wonder whether people we've sold off aren't actually better than the ones we've kept. They might pontificate about the wisdom of selling your striker cover half way through a season in which you're challenging, without bringing in a replacement. They might ask whether our trophy cabinet is beginning to look a little bit empty. They might bring up the managers lust for publicity, his public contract negotiations and his apparent instructions to players not to sign contracts until the manager himself has decided his own future. They might talk about rotation, the fact that we draw too many games. They'll probably talk about not chasing wins hard enough, settling for draws. Some may even provide stats for people to look at. Some of them may even offer up potential tactical talking points, different ways we could improve, or ways in which certain players could look at things differently.
None of it'll get countered though mate, it never does. They'll either be told "let's bring in Big Sam yeah

Anyway, no need for RBG to watch himself, he won't get any of that. I'm glad too. He is entitled to his opinion, just the same as everyone else.
