He is having a medical at a hospital in Essex.

Does anybody else feel like this might be the deadline

They said oin talkshite that a player we could be bringing in 'is well known and is playing in Spain'. Must be Saviola.

In fairness S@int, it also shows how darn difficult it is to go to such an intense club like Liverpool and be a success from day one. I´m sure he found the pressure and expectations unbearable from the fans, the manager, plus all the other issues within the club.

I wouldnt be surprised if he describes Anfield as a nuthouse.

To be honest I hope if Keane goes we get a quality right sided player, whether that be Lennon or Bentley (both not too long ago England players after all).

I haven't seen Saviola play for a long time, but as Pennant never really worked out we are crying for someone down that right hand side.
I just hope 'if' we do get Lennon that he doesn't turn out to be a 'Pennant 2'....knowing Rafa he will bring someone in and still play Dirk there.  :)

Reading the papers it seems Spurs want a cash only transfer (£15million) while Rafa wants a player included in the deal.

god, not Bentley, he's not worth half of what spuds paid for him

oh he is definately not worth the money the spuds paid for him but for a 6 month loan/trial before buy etc would  be worth a punt cause at blackburn he was very good indeed and would give us a wide option . certainly got good delivery off the ball . better than quasimodo but not as good as lennon .

Bentley has been no less of a flop than quresema since the summer.  Difference is Bentley actually talks as if his some amazing player who has achieved great things.  A couple of good seasons at blackburn after being released by arsenal is nothing to write home about.  Plus the arrogant git is a Man Utd fan.  While he talked in the summer of being a spurs fan I work with someone who knows him and his always been a Utd fan.

when it comes to arrogance quasimodo is up there with the best - the guy certainly rates himself very highly and remember his rant during the euros about him claiming to be as good as Fake ronaldo . Lennon would be the best option of the lot

They should lock him up.  Its not fair Barca have messi. If he carries on like this for the next 4 & 5 years he could go down as the greatest player ever.  No joke.

That's what the Liverpool Echo says, but if Keane IS having a medical we must assume perhaps that we are getting a player in exchange.
