"A source said". Good God if we spent half as much time trying to beat sh!te teams as we do trying to manipulate the media, we'd be alright.

Never mind Rafa mate I am on a roll :D

Keane, a boyhood Liverpool fan, will be distraught at having to leave but has been unhappy at the deeplying role he has been asked to play

Who's always said Keane was not never has been or ever will be a creative second striker

Never mind the sarcastic smilie ....... wheres the smug I was right all along one! :D

no way should rafa be getting a new contract right now.  Also got agree that there was a great myth that Keane was a bergkamp type of player ready to supply torres with all the ammunition.  His never been that type of player and isnt good enough to be that player.  A total waste of money!!!

Seriously I don't honestly believe Rafa would say something like that. No manager would say that. I have no doubt it will be denied shortly.

I was never a big keane fan but the way Rafa has treated him is a fucking disgrace.

This could seriously damage rafa's reputation on bringing players here in future they will think twice.

He can sue them if he didnt say it because they are supposed to be direct quotes.

That report above, is there even a smidgin of truth to the suggestion that Keane is going back to Spurs ? I mean, c'mon people, let's have some truth here....
And that "comment" from Rafa...."the club spent it...." - FFS, that is the most childish comment I have ever heard in my life and at this point I have zero, nada, nill, nichts...respect for the man. What an immature and pathetic comment to make (assuming it's true !). If I said something like that in work, as a professional, my customers would laugh at me; they'd ridicule me; and I'd lose all respect as a professional.
Good God, this is a sign we are going very rapidly downhill.....All this pathetic, childish in-house bickering has farked up the best chance we had in years of actually challenging.
And I don't mean just the Keane saga....it's the other duff decisions, but I won't go off the (Keane) topic here...

I don't think Rafa will be here for long tbh, even if he signs a contract
Madrid will buy it out.

Once these sort of events happen it's just a slippery slope, and most of the
time tis no way back.

Mate, I said the exact same on here tonight. If I were being aproached by LFC, I'd tell them to go off and grow up first

We need a new manager. Time to go I'm afraid. Yes let him stay till the end of the season, but if he said that any support I had for him (which admittedly wasn't that much) along with any lingering respect, has gone.

Time for a new manager, and allowing this man to sign a new contract could have grave consequences for the club.  :no  :no  :no

Im not so critical of Rafa here. He's fitting a political battle.
