Chlow is awesome. I do love 24, got every boxset.. but I think with recent shows I've gotten into (Wire, Shield) 24 has to turn it up a gear. Bauer needs someone with him who's as cool, who lasts longer than 2 episodes.
Chloe though is the underated genius of the show.
Is that Jeneane Garofolo in the background too? that's a bizarre choice, but I can't wait for January for the start of day7. Might teevo every episode for 3 months then watch it all in one sitting if I can last.

Chloe is still there though, and that's all that matters. She is actually my fave character, it was Milo but he go bye bye so now Chloe, she is the real a$$ kicker of the show

Jack is so famous for getting things done, that the senator questioning him, tells him to come back in the morning at the same time.
"Tomorrow, same time." was the funniest line of the entire first episode.

So what did you all think of the 1st ep, or should I say 1st 2 eps. I thought it was brilliant. Although I missed the season where Tony died (was that s5?) I have it on DVD but dont have time to catch up on it now will do after 7 is over now.

Loved it, gonna be back to its best. think Tony died season 6, all sort of meshes together tho

I thought it was gr8 too, and as of every other 24 season start - we know Almeida will only be the small fry leading to something bigger. Jack will turn him!!

I thought it was a really good start to the new season. It will be interesting to see how Tony being alive is explained.

Watched the first ep. of the new series last night. I like it's style. It needed a new direction, and it looks like its got it.
