you implied in that very sentance that Owen(and everyone else) realised it was curtains due to Cisses arrival, thats wtf I'm on about or rather wtf your on about. I'm not gonna post in this midgets thread anymore, he signs he gets boo'd.

No I didn't. I said "he must have realised that he could never form a partnership with Cisse". You can make up what stupid little thoughts you want. I never said Rafa bought him, never said Cisse was Rafa's favourite.

as well as what saint posted, i remember reading at the time, so i searched an all..

site - not the best source, but does use direct quote from the horses (Michael's) mouth:

"I said that my ideal situation was to start the season in the Real Madrid team and if not I would prefer to return to Liverpool," Owen said.

"If the transfer cannot be finalised in time I have agreed to go to Newcastle."

Or they may have forced him to stay and rot instead of accepting our MUCH lower offer
