Unfortunately because we have drawn too many games lately we could have really done with the win. I think the way we are using our subs shows the lack of depth in the squad. We really need to strengthen even when Torres returns.
We are having to play too many players who look out of form, just because we have no one decent to replace them with. I thought we lost the midfield battle in the first 5 minutes and it was only when Fabregas went off that we actually started to play, unfortunately we still never looked like a team at the top of the league.
Effort we had in abundance, quality and skill we looked sorely lacking.
I think it says it all when the best attacking option we have to bring on are reserve quality players like Ngog and El Zhar, with a makeshift mid-field containing Lucas. Babel was just completely terrible when he came out. No impact at all out of him. Needs to try harder, or I wouldn't mind seeing him go come January if we can get a quality striker for replacement. Considering the manager wasn't there, and the team available, we did OK, I felt. This game was a worry to me before we played it seeing as Arsenal have had a knack for turning it on against the bigger sides this season. The transfer window will make or break our season, I feel. It's key that Rafa gets the right back-up.
Don't think there is any balls on transfer market atm.
Rafa does need some.
prepare for bad second goalkeeper, some fullbacks on free, and Koren from WBA to replace Benayoun
An you are one of the Toss.ers im talking about . you are so wrong lad its unreal. Id love to stand next to you in a game . Mind you i think id get arrested .
You need to behave your

self , because you are becoming a joke
what? you want me to say everything is alright? to me it is not and to me you are ok,but stupid lad. Fair enough from you and from me. Mate, please stop posting about booing fans,it is becoming so pathetic. After the game,we disscuss the game, and if I think that Rafa does bad signings it is my fukcin opinion and I can have my opinio. You are to.sser, now what? I would beat you too? now what? are you stupid that much mate? nanny(hahaha to nick name, cause if some nanny could beat me,buahahahahah)
No one saying were playing out of this world ,No one is saying everything is alright . an yes your right everyone has an opinion. But your opinion of this team an the manager stinks lad. Ive never seen you post anything positive apart for declaring you love for Ryan Babel . Well let me tell you this you need glasses mate because hes not worth a carrot. Every ball today he lost . An if he is your dream footballer then yes we are in trouble .
An where have i mentioned in my last 2 posts about anyone booing. The only booing that was done today was by gooners when Keane had the ball or when he came off .
An you are a to.sser mate you make Hiemdell look like an angel
See i even give you a shout out there Hiemdell

I am not your mate, hahahha. It is not just today for me. We were like today last 4 years. I don`t post about positive things
there is too many issues and because of them we are not going to win the league. Yes I can come here and say... OH DEAR,THAT GERRARD IS THE best THING WE`VE EVER HAD. OR TORRES IS BEST STRIKER IN THE LEAGUE. These are obvious things. We have some problems here, obvious problems, with manager that is mistake from day for our league campaign. We are playing unattractive, bad football. I don`t care if we win odd game. THAT FOOTBALL WILL LEAD US NOWHERE. Maybe we can do well in CL,but in the league,we can be happy that we are in the battle for the league. I can`t see us overtaking mancs this year with this football.

Are we not already ahead of them in the league?

What like throwing 3 attacking players on? Maybe.

OK but that was with 10 minutes left when he was getting a bit desperate and he took our main attacking option off to bring on fecking El Zhar, WTF??
In any case I'm talking about a change in formation rather than desperation subs. All of the players were playing well today so subs were not really needed but a change in formation was.
Sorry but that is not too clever management in my book.
Everyone's an expert from an armchair perspective.
True but I was saying this at the time, seriously if I was getting paid £4million a year, I wish
, then I would have changed to 4-4-2 immediately and pushed Kuyt up front with Keane and moved Lucas over to right midfield or subbed him with El Zhar or Babel.
Rafa has continually said after games where we have wasted loads of chances in front of goal that we were at least creating chances but after the sending off we didn't and that is NOT good enough.
Overall though a point at the emirates is good and yes I would have taken it before the match, I'm just annoyed because we had a bloody good chance of winning the game but bottled it.

I have to admit that Babel was cr@p today but after they went down to 10 men our lads lost their way completely, was very distressed to see that and I still reckon the lack of a formation change and panic subs were dissapointing to say the least but maybe it would have been different if Rafa was actually there.
In any case did everybody else notice Redknapp sucking up to Rafa just because he knew Rafa would be watching, it was a disgrace, he's normally mega critical you could tell Richard Keys thought it was a bit odd as well.

How were they panic subs? F*cking hell, you can only play with what you have. Those three were the best attacking options we had left on the bench and they were brought on. What more do you want? When I seen those three coming on, I said "oh, well, at least no one can complain about the lack of ambition to try to win it." How wrong was I.
Let this be a lesson to you, never ever underestimate my grumpiness
I wanted, as I have now said about 5 times, a change in formation. The subs were more or less panic subs because apart from Babel, who unfortunately had a stinker, none of them were an obvious improvement or offered something fresh compared with the players they replaced.

So what happend to your sidekick Babel then he was Sh.ite an has been a while now . As i said before i will not be sorry if he went
Don't worry Nanny, Bam will be back soon
Babel doesn't even look like he's interested, presumably he is looking more at possibly moving than trying to play well.
That makes no sense, if you want a move then surely you would play better to show off your wares wouldn't you???
I agree Babel played poor today but quite a few of our players were underpar including Alonso.

I disagree Nanny he played very well against PSV.
BTW the game today had two frigging awesome goals didn't it, especially pleased for Keane's and wish we could sign Van Persie
Agree Hiemdell the two goals were goodens.
I was killing meself laughin though at one point our goalkeeping coach Xavi thingmagig was up andown like a blue ar.se fly relaying the phone messagers . We was all imagining Rafa walking up and down in front of the telly using them hand signals to Montse telling her he should be there an he should be here . An her just shaking her head
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE
