The guy will never make a decent player for us he is a complete coward on the pitch. Too scarded to go forward, take a risky pass or have a shot, he constantly plays it simple or backwards to keep possesion and is largely anonymous when he plays.

GYBS wrote:they were unlucky that they were missing their best players with injury so didnt play to their full potential but doesnt mean people can take away the performance of lucas who fought hard as well as created .

well if you say we'll have to agree to disagree, beacuse all i see is an average player. But ask your self this can you ever see him performing even like yesterday reguarly in the premiership?

yes i can given the chance - its his confidence that is the prob - i have seen him play like that in the prem last season - also remembering he is still young and got time to develop and learn as well . He isnt world class by any stretch nor is he- i put him alongside players like fletcher who will come in and do a decent job for us when required.

thats the problem at Liverpool weve got to many players who can do a job on occasion and not enough class

we have plenty of players that have class and have players that do a great job for us - a good mix at the moment - maybe need one more creative player but its nowhere near as bad as its been made out .
I think people expect too much these days and expect us to have a team full of world class players .
also remember players like lucas are 4th choice cm .
