He did play well and he put in a few tasty free kicks as well.  Well in, lad.

That's right - you just refreshed my memory that it was his free kick that Babel put in.

To be fair Lucas did put in a decent shift last night.  Seemed stronger than in previous games, very good ball in for Babels goal plus some neat and tidy passing.

He'd probably do really well in the dutch league.  :D

I'll join in on the chorus giving Lucas credit for last night's performance, as I actually thought he was MotM. I just hope he can eventually transfer that sort of play into the much more physical and faster league games, in which case he could still become a very handy player for us.

I dont think it would be over-exaggerating to say he is better than Ronaldinho. I think you will agree. :D

Think maybe it was just that he had more confedence ?

I mean the support at liverpool isn't what is once was and the fans seem to target single players and make there life hell nowa days.

Not what i remember used to happen in early years ?

Maybe its time for the linch mob fans to start to hold there hands up and say maybe we need to support our players no matter how bad there form is.

I mean this forum is like having 100 rafa wanna b's bitching about player form all the time.

I was saying this after the Fulham match.  It is hard to play well knowing that the crowd that is supposed to be supporting you is just waiting for you to make a mistake so they can tell their friends in the pub after the match how smart they are and that you actually are rubbish.

We need to support every player that walks onto the pitch in our shirt.  They need our support as football is very much a game of confidence.  Some people on here complain that Lucas can only make a 5 yard pass or a backwards pass, but look what he can do when he has confidence and does not have 45000 on his back at every bad touch.  I would like to see any one of you Lucas haters on here make a 5 yard pass with 45000 "supporters" booing your every touch.

Boo him and he will be just what some of you on here want him to be:  :censored:

Support him as if he were one of our own and he will be brilliant as he was last night.

I get the feeling that some of you don't want him to succeed because he is brazilian, or has long hair, or some other stupid reason.  Next time he walks out at Anfield we need to support him and show him we love him, and then I think we will be amazed at what we see.

Great game lad, my MOTM!
