That's the thing though.  There is no treatment.  He just needs rested properly.  I wouldn't play him again this side of Christmas.

I told yehs Rafa should of Wrapped him up in cotton wool until well after that Spanish Friendly. I wouldnt have played him atall in a prem game until maybe the beginning of Dec, I would of had him a few minutes here an there with the ressies

Im gonna be s.hitting myself more at the thought of Dossena playin

That's the thing though.  There is no treatment.  He just needs rested properly.  I wouldn't play him again this side of Christmas.

I seem to remember Owen spending all summer with one of our physio's doing special stretching excercises. Then Houllier said he had to train with the rest of the squad against the physio's advice and fk'd him up again.

Presumably Rafa instructing Spain about special warm up excercises for Nando was on similar lines?

Like you say though, rest is the best treatment, just don't rush him back too soon.

This is really bad news :( looks like a niggling injury that could be lengthy if not dealt with now.
would rather see him rested till chrismas than have this keep comming back to haunt the lad.
Mabie we should look towards Keane and Kuyt upfront or even try Babel and Keane

Buggery!!!

If we had the money then bringing Martins in wouldn't be a bad call, fast, powerful and he knows where the goal is. Forget Owen, if we're having trouble with Nando's fitness at the mo I just don't see the logic in bring the king of hamstring injuries back to the club.

As for Dossena, I'd sooner see Insua given a run out there, he couldn't do any worse TBH. In fact just stick a cardboard cutout of a footballer at LB, it'd be more useful than Andrea!!! :D
