Thank God.

I'm sorry for echoing false news. Marca, is indeed a shít paper, and I filter tons of rumours and stories about signing ups that mention Liverpool.

But so far, they never got wrong a news about an injury! and when I read that Torres is "broken" again and he will be out no less than 3 weeks I forwarded the sad news.

The thing is, a national tv channel and another newspaper also have echoed this news, I'm very confused. The news of other papers said the same information, that it was the same injury, that the injury occured in the last minute of the game, and they reminded it was the third time.

But if Rafa has said he's ok then that's good enough for me.

I cannot believe the journalism has been that poor.

I'm very sorry for posting this news.

Even the Echo is reporting it.

Maybe Rafa was talking about Aurelio this morning?? :(

The medical staff have been assesing Torres this morning, so there'll be more news on it t'savvy or evening, at latest tomorrow. Since we're not playing till Monday anyway, there'll be a lot of this hushed up as there'll have extra time to get him ready than they would if it was a normal saturday aftnernoon kick off.

So we still dont know then?
If he was going to miss a month surely there would be word by now, strange how the spanish papers seemed so sure though.
No Torres and Dossena in, please God no.

TORRES AND AURELIO INJURY VERDICTS
Paul Eaton 27 November 2008
Fernando Torres and Fabio Aurelio both face short spells on the sidelines after picking up injuries against Marseille on Wednesday night.
Both players underwent scans at Melwood earlier today after picking up hamstring and calf strains respectively during the 1-0 Champions League victory.

A club spokesman confirmed: "Fernando has a strain in his right hamstring and will be out of action for between two and three weeks.

"Fabio has a calf strain in his left leg and will be out for two weeks."

this is very worrying :(

Anything but the hamstrings!
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road
