Agree with you Lando.

, disgraceful post . 11 goals in his first season and most of them on the wing not in his natural position , remind me again how many goals did diouf get for babel to be compared to that . Stupid comparison , diouf and cissie left us and started playing in their natural position , look at how well they are performing at sunderland , cissie scoring regulary and diouf is always a threat at bolton as well .

(not that I'm saying he is, just thinking Diouf left long before Kewell)

seriously, i don't rate Babel. i hope he proves me wrong, but today was more of the same dross. I.E passing to the opposition, falling over and looking uninterested.
Some Irish guy first of all called up to moan about Lucas and Spoony then asked him what he thought of Ryan Babel. Spoony said he thought Babel was one of the best youngsters in the world!!!!

I do rather tire of the tedious Rafa 'tactic' of taking off Riera, having found a LM who is worthy of the Liverpool shirt, and bringing on Babel who isn't close to being a LM.
It's unimaginative and frankly I'd don't see how he can keep wasting a substitution on LM when Keane is so often ineffective and fresh legs up front would be better. That said, if Rafa keeps playing his only two strikers worth mentioning from the off, then how is he going to change it up front? (other than Babel on for Keane/Torres) We are so lacking in striking options, I think we should have kept Fowler on for a sub role and as an option, that or recall Voronin.

The biggest reason to get rid of babel (and lucas)...
If they are still here...beneitz can't help it.....he just couldn't resist it subbing Riera for Babel or dropping Alonso for Lucas....
Get rid of babel... Benayoun is twice the player babel is.....(I even rate pennant over babel too).
, post of the year !!
