Shame we never got Heize(sp), although I think Aurelio is a good player but he`s only fot for 2 games out of every 5.
So here a question if we manage to get rid of Dossena for 5m, which lets face it we`d all take, who could we get for that amount who would improve us?
I think we`ll have to look at an older player 29-31 who wont command a huge fee although he`s been there and done it if you know what i mean, but I cant think off the top of my head. Anyone...

Same here ...can't think of anyone. But it would be good idea if we started using Insua instead of Dossena.

Same here ...can't think of anyone. But it would be good idea if we started using Insua instead of Dossena.

We`ll hopefully see Insua agaist more or less the same spurs side next week in the league cup.

i think you just answer your question above. Dossena plays cos Aurelio can't play few games in a row. Benitez once said he was trying to protect Aurelio by playing him once a week or something.
Dossena is really a liability. Hoof the ball often, cross poorly, panic under pressure, and most importantly can't defend. Haven't seen a good thing from him. :no

insua ? ! Have people seen him when he has played in first team ? Good going forward but the guy is pretty shocking at defending . Constantly loosing his man and being out of position .

i saw him on the primera liga team of the weak and he got rave reviews. so i thought maybe he was someone who is good cause ive never heard of him

we were better at full back with riise and finan than we are now.. i feel rafa made a misktake getting rid of them. i quite think aurellio is quite good.. arbeloa is decent. dossena is wack..

Aurelio played like he had cerebral palsy last night. We badly need more quality at LB, and up front, because with Torres missing, we only have Kuyt and Gerrard as goalscorers, at least until Keane snaps out of his "can't shoot, won't shoot" fugue.
