Watched it the other night , pretty good action/conspiracy movie, although ultimately the premise of the conspiracy is one we've seen before it's still a couple of hours of decent if forgettable entertainment.

:D

Im almost 100% sure this is a US remake of REC that Emy Red talked about.
Feck its creepy, horrific, civilians and firefighters are locked in an apartment block with zombies .they cant leave as they are suspected of being "infected" and are caged in by police! All shot on a handheld cam...this is a movie i reckon that you need to be in the mood for...i loved it!
One complaint it was just a bit too dark.Good show but I seen the ending coming a mile off...scarier than most!!  :buttrock

Sounds like REC alright. Which is an ok film, which has a brilliant ending.

Rec spanish movie involves a tv crew, a fire crew and the residents of an apartment block in Barcelona , oh yeah and Zombies plus a "thing" in the attic.

Watched it the other night, quite good.

Gomorrah looks a good film. The book is really good.  the film is being tipped for an Oscar.  definitely not the romantic Mafia style that americans sometimes adapt.  the book is frightening in its honesty and although Ive spent some time in naples I had no idea how widespread and how bad things are over there, I guess I had a romantic view of the place

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0929425/

The author has opened up Pandoras box in naples and is currently living a Salman Rushdie lifestyle, protected 24hrs a day by bodyguards.  he has embarrassed and exposed the Naples Mafia families and they are not happy.  In the Independant today theres an article about him and how the Mafia want him dead before xmas.

The book is fact based and brutally honest and a brilliant read.  The reviews Ive read about the film are superb. The Director shot it in a war film documentary style to give it an extra edge.  In fact one of the actors in it has been arrested for Mafia stuff.  It is being tipped for the foreign film Oscar and the buzz about it IMO is putting it on a par with City of God as far as foreign films go.

The only downside for me is I have to wait to see it as although it was released last Friday, the cinemas in cardiff seem to concentrate on blockbusters and the art centre cinema is always about a month behind
