Barry.   :D

Read emeralds posts in this thread mate and you will see where the sniping starts, I know you have highlighted me but its not always the "doom and gloomers" who start with the put downs, in fact I find it quite the opposite, I have yet to see a doomer start with "idiot" or "gibberish" comments(well maybe stu).

The problem on here now is that neither side will back down, and why should they? Everyone on here thinks their point is legit so they will use it. The problem comes when posters come on and hunt down certain other posters to slate, and one major problem is the "happy clappers" thinking they are the better supporters over the supporters prepared to speak their mind about the club even if it is criticism,

As for RAWK, I have never been on it, and if posters want to leave here then so be it. There should be no war in here, we all want the same thing, we just have different ideas how to get there

Right OK Peewee I apologise,I forgot that you were so sensitive lately!
Emerald its your fault!....Is that better? :D
As for the happy clapper vs doomer debate,im not getting into that because I dont agree with either extreme..Never have, never will!

As for if posters want to leave...thats fair enough I agree, some will be missed more than others, all are free to come back and usually do!

RAWK is a great site there is no denying that and its great that its there because it can and does make a difference but like others have said it can go over your head and is hard to get your point across sometimes with so many people posting, ive been a member there for about the same amount of time as ive been here and ive posted less than 200 times.

an example of this would be manhatten himself, over on rawk they just dont get him or his humour yet on here he is /was not sure what the situation is with him but he fitted in here.

Saint hits it on the head, this place is more personal and that probably goes someway to explaining why we have so many fallouts and how there hightlighted more, over on rawk they get lost in a sea of posts and another 5 spats going on at the same time :D also the mods over there make ours look like saints , i come from a family of 2 brothers and five sisters and you would not believe the amount of scraps we would have.

i read more than i post and to me too many people whilst there is no problem with disagreeing with someone have to throw an insult in aswell which does not help

my longest post and nothing to do about football :D

There's only one reason i go onto rawk and that's info , there's alot of information on there regarding the owners and people with trusted sourses blah blah blah . This place is a good forum and it's very diverse , it's not anti oot like some forums and it's pretty welcoming to good posters . The mods are a bit gay , but there far more easy going than on rawk . Our mods are adults and treat the members like adults , it's more or less down to us why there's so much argueing at the minute , it seems easier to call someone a tw@t rather than to agree to disagree. I'm starting to get a bit p!ssed off with the happy clapper -doom monger factions thing aswell . WE ARE ALL lfc supporters and WE ALL want the same thing. That is a successful Liverpool fc .
UP THE PURPS !!!

Its not down to overmodding as to why this place has become so negative. Its down to individual members, and the views they each held. You either agree or you dont. But thats where the problems start. There is no discussion anymore. There is a bad feeling whenever anyone posts on here lately.

That's a well thought post Karhaz. And it's true much of the problems are due to posters, and I also guess that many try to avoid the negativity by going other places, or maybe they try to avoid the fights. But I'd go a bit deeper, it's not all poster's fault, but a natural reaction to the state of the team.

I'm the same guy of four years ago, only that I've learned more things. So is Bigmick, a top bloke. Why our views will be polarised now? because the team situation. For me it's not a coincidence that now we're on top of the table, more discussions regarding players, tactics, and options are held in a peaceful manner. Four years ago, when Rafa had all the credit of the world, so it happened. Some would see back then the over-rotation, but since there still was credit, the discussions were not that harsh, we are were more able to move on.

But it reaches a time, in which every fan gets tired of a manager, and in every forum of the world there are pros and antis of that manager. In Spain, this situations last 1 week, and the next week he's sacked, and peace is restored, and footie dominates again.

But in England, those situations can last longer... and if a genuine fan thinks that a manager is hindering his beloved club, he'll tend to talk about it. Natural as fúck.

Quite simply I think that if we keep on top of the table, peace will be restored. If we sack the manager, after two weeks, peace will be restored if the results of the new manager are normal. So yes, some nasty, repetitive, and way of the mark discussions here -- I too I'm guilty -- but not because we're all a bunch of cúnts, but because it's natural reactions to footie feelings.
