19.39 Sky Sports News understands Newcastle are in talks to offload Joey Barton to a club who finished in the top 10 in the Premier League last season.

Although it does say it's rumoured to be Portsmouth

The guy shouldn't play again!!!

Doubt we will bring in anyone else unless by some miracle , rafa manages to sell pennant and bring in owen as cover , all these in the last 3 hours or so

Maybe Rafa has someone on his mind though because it seems as if Rafa is trying to rush Pennant out right now to secure some money so that then Rafa can use that money for someone else.

Wouldn't there be rumours about though by now. There's probably a Sky representative at every premierleague club waiting for players to arrive :p
