Yes your right redordead. In future if i argue it will be with a dedicated Liverpool supporter on football matters and not a sad wolly who blames the death of 96 of our supporters on the rest of our supporters.

Lets see how Baros & Cisse perform against spurs before discussing if Owen's departure hurts us or not.

Personally, i am not shedding a tear over Owen leaving because no doubt in my mind, he would have some clause in his contract to play every game if he had signed it. This will hurt Baros a lot, because what i see in him is a raw diamond. IF RB polishes up his game a little, Baros would become a world-class striker.

I am also not sure how Owen & Cisse will gel in the pitch seeing how Owen likes to play with a striker who does the dirty work for him.

Even the best striker we ever had, Ian Rush found it difficult to play for juventus. And he was their prime striker then. In Real Madrid, Owen has to fight with Ronaldo, Rual & Morientas for a striker role, how is he going to fare there ?

To all those who mentioned before that Owen will score loads of goals if he was playing for manure or arsenal, lets just see how many goals he does score for real madrid taking into consideration their supply line (zidane, Figo, Beckham)

Owen knew that he couldn't have a good start in LFC this season, people were depending on him too much this year and he knew he wouldn't be able to perform, he needed a fresh start. New players, new team = Real Madrid.

Real will be a very good and balance team.

That's not because Owen is in the team. Nor even becks.

If there are any favourites for Liga and CL this year, its gotta be them.

Barca have a good team as well, new signings like Larsson, Deco, Giuly etc, not to mention guys like Saviola and Ronaldinho.
