ban rumours from the site all it does is ultimately end in people getting on a downer.

Why is this taking so long. 15mil and Finnan is fair enough for both sides yet nothing happens still. I think Kicks was right when he tried to fire Parry as this is evidence he is :censored: when it comes to transfers as he never bothers to do anything quickly.

With this David Villa stuff. Its nice to know were in the mixer but there is hardly a sniff of a chance of this ever happening is there. we'll have 10 mil left after the barry deal at best so how on earth are we going to afford him? Clubs like chelsea, barca etc all want him aswell and have a bottomless pit and quotes of 30+mil have been tossed around so us with our 10 are way off. Though i cant see why we havnt tried trading Alonso for Villa. Alonso is spanish, they will love him and need an Alonso so why the fuk not? It makes more sence than the invention of the wheel. their getting 10mil and a top notch centre mid and we get villa. or at :censored: least do same deal for silva.

Why havnt they thought of this yet? If they hav then bloody move quick cos i want him now!

That's it , we've tried the peaceful approach but MON is still acting like a cun.t i reckon its time to send skrtel in , that should so the trick  :D

- Gary Neville is his own father.

Yes.That is exactly what it is. Villa saying he is going nowhere and Rafa talking about he is queen interested in Villa.Probalbly I am wrong but Smells transfer for me that's all, only a very respectable and personal opinion I guess. At least as respectable as the visionary opinion of those Who around 4-5 months ago posted about seeing Vicente,Villa,Silva, joaquin and some more leaving Valencia willing to play for Liverpool and buying them as it was about head hunters taking them from a  poor settelment of a city, in a remote country.

That was not visionary though. Valencia is a brothel as we speak. Supporters insulting in training sessions, 3 players kept out of the team, Unai Emery who's a brilliant local manager but hasn't enough cache to intimidate that lot, and a club that has economic difficulties are all the signs you need to see their players leaving. Did I mention they won't play the Champions league neither?

In the case of Villa I see it unlikely because of that precisely, Valencia needs money, and I'm afraid Liverpool's bid isn't gonna be the biggest of the lot.

Sorry Sabre but I disagree.

1)Visionary=Irony.
2)Valencia FC  is a BIG team (something that unfairly sometimes is ignored) playing in a very nice competition (la liga) and Valencia  is also a big, modern and wonderfull city.
A big team in a bad moment(managnement essencialy) with a very peculiar and demanding rude fans. I must agree Valencia does not deserve many of them. Big clubs always manage to overcome difficult situations and Valencia will do.What is very, very unrealistic and childy is to think "We are going to buy 1 o 2 top players from VAlencia because they are challenging relegation  " and statements like this... which on the other hand is/ was very spread on the internet forums, more surpraisily! in anglosaxon forums).
In order to buy one, Silva for instance , you need to have money to buy and a competitive project ,he has to be willing to leave and/ or Valencia willing to sell ( leaving  A very nice club and city).Afterwars he needs to leave  and very atracctive competition, la liga. (most of the time is quite the oppositte Arshavin , Cristiano this year but many others as is wellknown in the past).Afterwards he needs to choose PL (there is an Italian calccio also..) and  does he want to play for your team?etc...so many factors.
What I mean is most of the times is only a dream rather a realistic option spootted in every single Spanish and English club forum and for me in this case We are very unfair in the way We treat Valencia.
3)I dont know what you mentioned Sabre, I just telling you waht I ussually read on some forums. But I know what I said 5 months ago. a)I can not see more than 2 top players leaving Valencia and maybe 1 going abroad. We will see..b)They will fix the situation. This is a good beginning and bad news for those who thought they were buying in a banana republic I bet he sound familiar to you Sabre.Juan Villalonga (telefonica and O2) is taking control in Valencia Fc from today on.

Of course Valencia are a big club, and of course I could tell a lot of decent things they've done.

Needless to say, I don't consider my country a banana republic neither. But to be perfectly honest mate, I see Valencia in turmoil, as far as I could hear to a couple of Valencia fan mates and as far as I can read in their papers and forums.

In that scenario, selling players is more likely. Plus, those players are making the right noises such as "It's the club that have to decide that but I'm happy at Valencia bla, bla, blah". When it comes to pay lots of money, English clubs are a step beyond Spanish clubs -- fact. We could easily outbid even without being Chelsea the offer of Atletico for Silva, for instance.

We're talking about a league that pays 10M for a striker that has one year of remaining contract!! (that 15M € mate, almost matching the offer that Atletico considers "serious" for Silva!)

So it's not a thing of disrespect in that case, but a thing of the money that's being moved in the premiership these days. Madrid is the only team that can outbid us and they're at their stupid deeds of bringing yet another galactico, they won't be competing hard for the likes of Silva unless the Ronaldo operation goes down. Barcelona never paid astronomic fees for their players neither, they always got their Romarios from PSVs and their Ronaldinhos from lesser French teams.

banana republic =Valencia Fc (not spain  )
Of course money in football is England, that is a fact.Another fact is the turmoil in Valencia
As I mentioned , so many factors involved .I do not see more than 1 valencia top player  playing abroad,Anyway We will see :D

"they always got their Romarios from PSVs and their Ronaldinhos from lesser French teams"
Not only that mate, is something much complex and related to those factors and many others I left  reffered above .
Barcelona is a good example of something that many clubs never could buy and money can not buy.Barcelona is to football what apple to computers.
(by the way sorry for offtopic have you seen some of the young lads from Barcelona B? amazing what is coming....)

The [rag that shall not be named] claims that the Merseyside giants are aiming to tie up a deal for David Silva worth around 16million as they seek to increase their flair options this summer.

Reds boss Rafa Benitez announced yesterday that he is keeping a very close eye on David Villa, the Valencia striker who scored four-goals at EURO 2008 last month to help Spain to their first major title in over four decades.

Benitez’s revelation sent up warning signals all across Europe, as many believed the wily Spaniard may have been using Villa – an obvious target, given his link with Fernando Torres for La Furia Roja – as a smokescreen for a more secretive deal.

And in Silva, who also featured prominently in Austria and Switzerland, he has a player who will cost half the price – in both wage and transfer fee – of his Mestalla team-mate and would bring some much-needed versatility to Liverpool’s attack.

Although usually classed as a winger, the 22-year-old is an elusive playmaker who can works all across the park and in between the lines, making him a perfect candidate to slot into either wide role in the Reds’ 4-2-3-1 shape.

Los Che may not necessarily be amicable sellers but their current financial state means they must offload either Villa or Silva, their two most bankable stars, with whom Barcelona have also been linked

IF WE DONT SIGN SOM1 SOON WHO'S ACTUALLY GOOD I MIGHT GO INSANE. IM NOT SAYIN SILVA AINT GOOD BUT WE HAVNT SIGNED ANY1 OF HIS CALIBRE YET AND HE IS TOP NOTCH SO WE SHOULD GET HIM.

Also apprently in the prem there is a payment structure where you can pay half now and half in 12 months so we could sign double waht we thought we could. so we could get barry for 8mil and, hopefully it being the same in spain, sign silva for 10. this opens new doors to the whole transfer window
