We dont have a Torres complex as such, hes just an easy player to dislike. Just as you dislike Ronaldo so much (and dont say its got anything to do with the world cup or diving) opposing fans really dislike the best players of the other team. Its just a fact. Hence you dislike Ronaldo, Rooney, and in the past Cantona,Beckham and Ruud

Not sure what else to put so ill just say a bit about myself. I'm 18 support United and good football. I hate all the Heysel, Munich, Hillsbrough stuff going on between so called "fans" which really shouldnt exist. I actually belong to a United forum where we all share the same view that rivalries shouldnt go further than football. Theres many posters in there that tell us about the good old days when the terracing was shared and most fans got along together. Also our forum has all boycotted the sun newspaper for all the stuff said about what happened in Sheffield and all the :censored: that was brought up. We understand what happened was a tradgedy and i personally appologise profusely for any simple minded idiots who sing about things they shouldnt. Well anyway im a season ticket holder at Old Trafford (not old toilet :no ) and go to pretty much every home game and a lot of away games. Anyway thats about it im sure im boring you all now so ill just stop.  :sleep  :D  :D

Torres falls over a lot because he gets kicked quite a lot mate,he IS NOT a diver!
Ronaldo on the other hand very good player as he is,falls over a lot too.The difference is though that a large percentage of his "falls" are actually dives,ie that he goes over when he could have stayed on his feet which is known as CHEATING!
That is why i personally dislike him,not because he is UTDs best player!

Not to start a row like,i just wanted to put you right. In the post before this you said about Torres falling over which i took that you feel he's a diver and i wont be having that!

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks for the welcome. You  say Torres is bashed all over the place then Ronaldo is. Hes always targetted but either gets away with speed or gets chopped down. Fair play he does dive and i dont think you will find any united fan who says he doesnt, but he doesnt do it as much as people say. Look back 2 or 3 years and he did it constantly. And i can think of a good few times when Torres dived. One example. Vs Rio at anfield Rio runs across his path and Torres dives over trying to milk a penalty in front of the kop who gives Rio abuse. That was a plain dive.

look mate, nothing personal but i can't stand united fans just as i'd expect your lot not to stand liverpool fans but that's on a football level, as a person i know one or two united fans who are decent enough folks.

don't have any trouble talkin footy with anybody, as long as it stays footy and doesn't turn into a scrap (which more than often it does) so welcome aboard, but i can't see many of our fans takin kindly to a united fan tellin us about liverpool, so it'd probably be safer if you kept to just the wider football world and left Liverpool to Liverpool fans.

4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Which players of the current LFC squad would you honestly grab for your own team if suddenly available?

If it was for our squad then i would say Gerrard, Torres and possibly Carragher and Babel. I dont think we're in a bad position players wise especially in midfield although a good young winger would be useful. We do need another striker as Sahas just gotta go due to injuries and Tev and Wayne are the only strikers at the moment. We have a 24 year old big African coming in but hes untested and we have Frasier Campbell coming back off loan from Hull where he had a fine season yet hes untested in the EPL. Babel caught my attention in the u21s championship at international level, Gerrards just a very good player even though we have a lot of cover in the centre of midfield he would be a great player to have. Torres is obviously a quality striker as everyone knows even though hes a bit like Ronaldo in his proneness to fall over. And Carragher would be a good addition to our squad as a good backup player to Vidic or Rio but Wes Brown has been awesome of late since Vidic has been injured and hes moved into centre half with Rio even though i didnt really rate him, he's done well in the last couple of games.

Go and :censored: yourself- I hope drogba scores the winner  in the 90th minute in the final with his hand

How long do you reckon Fergie has got left and who do you want or think will replace him.

Are you expecting a lull in performance when it happens or will there be immediate pressure for success on the next manager.

Yes. But that's why you've come here and not to the Everton site to tell us you go to Moscow. It's no pleasure to tell that an Evertonian, it's a pleasure for you though to tell that to a Liverpool supporter.

Look, abroad, we don't care about city rivalries. We don't care about southern and northern english divisions. What we really care about is about football.

And Liverpool is one of those teams that marked an age in the eighties. Dominated Europe. Only Real Madrid and Milan can say that aswell. You like it or not, winning it 5 times puts Liverpool a step beyond. And that's a fact, like you're going to Moscow.  :)

blackpool  try supporting blackpool then. i'll give you a hint they're in the championship and play in a tangerine colour kit.

and sabre, I know you're speaking as a spaniard but over here in the north west of england, the rivalry is massive. United are what's known in the trade as "jealous" that they can't compete with Liverpool Football Club's success. They bang on about 18 years without a league title as if it's makes them better. But even 18 years without a title we've still won more league titles than United. So I can't for the life of me understand why they bang on about those 18 years because it makes them look worse for not being able to overttake us in title wins when we haven't won it for 18 years. I fuckin hate united with a passion. Ferguson farts and the press are round them likes flies round shit.

United will never be able to compete with Liverpool Football Club in terms of success. We won the league when football was a mans game, not when the biggest cheats won everything. The 90s United side I didn't mind as much, they were a great footballing side. Schemichael, Neville, Pallister, Bruce, Irwin, Beckham, Keane, Scholes, Giggs, Yorke and Cole. But nowadays they cheat their way to victory. Anyone walks within 30 yards of Ronaldo he falls over. Ferdinand is a drug addict. Rooney is one moaning bastard who intimidates refs into giving him decisions.

On a side note Paul Scholes is the second best English midifielder this country has seen since 1990. Only behind Steven Gerrard.

I do sometimes thanks mate because its my hometown but i primerily support United because my family were born and bred in Manchester and supported them all their lives and passed it on to me. Im sure you havnt told that Spaniard to support Villareal or someone so why tell me? We're jealous of nothing because we will pass your league record within a few seasons. Ok you won 5 times ect. We won 2 and hopefully 3. I personally dont care about what you won years ago because it is here and now that matters and that is what you Scousers fail to realise. If we or Sir Alex lived in the past then we would have stopped winning everything after the treble in 99 (not playing the treble card) but he carried on wanting to win things again.
