Hey Peewee mate, My English is much better than the typical Spanish. That's because the english we are tought is shíte. But even if my english is better, it's still quite "Spanish smelling"!!! But that doesn't mean that if I keep studying it further I won't polish it. I haven't worked on English grammar for 10 years, I just watch tv shows like prison break and read this forum to keep alive my english and improving it a bit. But I can tell you that if I studied it further, my english would at some point reach Detomarco's one, and even beyond.

Just a comment of my English. Same applies to Spanish learners. John Toshack has an ENglish Spanish, because he thinks in ENglish and never was ársed to improve his grammar. Sid Lowe though, has a better structured Spanish. It all depends how much you work on it.

hey sabre, como estas? you are spanish, right? i was reading your thread about "La Liga" and you seem to be quite a specialist

what team do you like there?

and what you said about your english, applies to me, i quitted learning english 10 years ago, but i kept in touch by listening to music, watching movies, and, time to time, speaking it with some american friends, but as far as i'm concerned, i improved it a lot just posting in the manchester united forum

Yes I'm Spaniard, but I'm applying to be an adopted Scouser too :D My local team is Real Sociedad -the other badge in the signature-, but I've had Liverpool FC in my heart many years. Specialist? well not really, I'm just a supporter that goes every sunday to watch primera games, and you learn something in 20 years of football.

well, it took me a while to reply at your post, but here it is

the mancunians call the liverpool fans bin dippers because they say you have to dig in the thrash cans to look for food

And I hope that made you realise they're a bunch of fúckwits.

I've known LFC and I've been a fan of LFC since 1988, but I've only known better what the english press and people say about LFC since 2003 or so.

And I'm still amazed of how LFC is treated by the press and some english fans. I always thought all U.K. HAD TO BE proud of the club that brought MOST of the glory to the country. What I found out instead? that the press start counting the titles since the premiership for some dark reason, and that some of the fans insult all Liverpool city.

That in Spain has a name: Obvious envy.
