Are you talking to me? If so I already am positive than Owen will sign.

Not clueless, just pi$$ed off.

If we underachieve, its because he hasnt scored enough goals as has been the case in the past 2 seasons.

He should take a good look at himself before he holds the club to ransom the same week the premiership is about to begin.

Even the best players have bad season. You have to be a bit more reasonable because Owen was injured last season and even though he was injured he managed to be our top scorer with 19 goals.

The amazing Ronaldo had a bad taste of injuries just like Owen, but he bounced back from it. Considering that Cisse is here, Owen has a good chance of scoring a lot of goals this season if he decides to stay.

Have to admit I agree with tel....Owen has seriously gone down in my estimation...I know the modern game is all about player power and contracts and money blah blah blah but there are some players out there who still know what it is to be loyal. Michael is not one of them. For the past two years he has moaned and complained about pretty much every aspect of the club, he is stalling on the contract, refusing to sign even though we got a new manager 2 months ago and like Tel said...all this business the week we start our title challenge? It's bang out of order.

Your earlier post is pretty easy to misunderstand. You came across as Owen playing out the year without signing

ok, i cleared that up afterwards though, oh well sorry abt the misunderstanding lad.  :)
yes a Bosman would be the worst possible outcome, Owen is worth at leats 20 million and to not get a penny would be ******, but it won't happen, If Owen doesn't sign now he will be sold.

Yes but who will he be sold to? Barcelona and Real Madrid are out of the question.

yeh exactly I think he will re sign now cos we are basically assured of CL qulaifiction, and if we have another season of poor performances and underachievement he will move on.

once he assured the gaffer that he'd rather 'contribute' some money to Liverpool than leaving under Bosman

Didn't he say that he would never do what Macca did?
