Reina

Arbeloa      Carra      Hyypia      Aurellio

Benayoun   Gerrard   Mascherano    Kewell

                Crouch    Voronin/Torres

1 or 2 changes, I know Rafa wont keep it the same, infact, I expect Finnan to start too

Kewell will play for the aussies no matter what, better we get a game out of him before they get him injured :D

C'mon.. lets rotate!

             Reina
Finnan  Carra  Hypia  Aurelio
Yossi  Gerrard Mascha  Kewell
           Crouch  Torres

This team would wipe the floor with fulham, and then weve got Alonso and Agger to come back in...
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

A case of Rafa’s … One Statement Three Interpretations :

1.
Benitez undecided over weekend rotation
…“Maybe I will say ‘yes I want to keep my team’ and then I will have problems in training, so it is better to wait and see what happens before Saturday.”... see anfieldonline

2.
Liverpool May Be Unchanged For Fulham Game
… “Maybe I would say ‘yes, I want to keep the same team’ and then we could have injury problems. So we need to wait.”... see premiershiplatest

3.
Rafa may make changes
… "Maybe I will say 'yes I want to keep my team' and then I will have problems in training, so it is better to wait and see what happens before Saturday."... see skysports

:D ... a master in confusing media reporting too.

Classic example of the spin factor.

Aye, my interpretation is that he says that even if he wants to play initially a team, the team selection has a direct relationship with how the players train through the week.

I think that what he said it's better than saying he will play for sure the same team, because as a player, you don't train the same way when you know you're fighting for a spot in the team or when you know for sure you're going to be in the bench. That things are decided in games' form, but also in training sessions.

Rafa should play same team that played ( started) on Tuesday, no need to risk Torres AGAIN, besides we have bigger fish to fry than Fulham, keep him fresh for them.

4-0 Win

1-0 to us, and it will be an ugly win. I refuse to get carried away with the 8-0. Go on, Liverpool - prove me wrong, please.

These sort of teams we should be beating comfortably especially after the demolition of beskitas. I think Benayoun,Crouch and Babel should all start as they will all be buzzing of confidence. Kewell looked great tuesday used the wings well and delivered some great balls. Gerrard i think is coming back to his game scoring in 4 of the last 5 games i think it is. Alonso? is he still out. If he is id play mascherano with Gerrard

Reina

Finnan
Carragher
Hyypia :(
Arbeloa

Benayoun
Mascherano
Gerrard
Kewell

Crouch
Babel     4-0 Gerrard,Crouch(2) Kewell

Sanchez on Liverpool
Friday 9th November 2007
Fulham face a buoyant Liverpool side on Saturday following their eight-nil rout over Besiktas on Tuesday evening evening but Lawrie Sanchez is looking forward to the challenge and wants at least a point from the game.

“We’ve got to come away from Anfield with something. Everybody saw on Tuesday night how good Liverpool can be. It’s no coincidence that on their day the top four teams have put eights, sevens and sixes away against other teams. It’s a good test for our players and I’m looking forward to it.

The last time the two teams met Clint Dempsey scored the winner to secure Fulham’s future in the Premier League but Sanchez is exprecting a very different game and revealed Rafa Benitez rotation policy poses a problem for opposition managers.

“There will be very few players who would have played in both games. It’s a different situation; their eyes were on Europe, now they’re looking at the league. I think Rafa realises that the league is what the Liverpool fans want to win more than most.

“Liverpool are probably the most difficult team in the Premier League to prepare for. I’ve got no idea what their team will be but you’ve got to give credit to a man who has won the UEFA Cup, was a Champions League finalist and has won the Spanish League twice – he obviously knows what he’s doing. He doesn’t fit in with what people do in this country but at the end of the day, they’ve just won a game 8-0.”

I think that this is the first time I have seen an almost complimentary reaction from an opposition manager to Rafa's rotation skills!
