Igor - Did he deserve it

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Igor Biscan has just been voted by readers of four four two magazine as the ( worst player) of last season. The twenty six year old managed to beat off competition from El Hadji Diouf and brazilian defender Roque Junior. Do you think he'll get the chance to retain the award next season?.  :suspect:

How many goals did Diouf the striker/attacking midfielder score again?

he's starting to really get some confidence playing in Cm, don't think he was ever a centre half.

there is an interview with him on lfc.tv today.

Good interview.

At least the lads hearts in the right place.

I've always thought he had potential that he's never shown to be a good player. I'm not saying a great player, but i think he deserves one last chance.... in his natural positon.

Biscan is a legend, we will definately now see the best of him with him playing in his favoured central midfield position. I remember when he first arrived he looked like a class player putting in some good performances especially against the scum at Old Trafford that year. He has shown in patches the quality of player he has the potential to be, remember at the start of last season when Henchoz was injured Igor was outshining Hyypia as our best central defender despite it not being his favoured position (particularly in the derby at Goodison where he had Wayne Rooney in his pocket all day long). Its just a shame he was unable to continue his form into the new year.

The readers of 4-4-2 obviously don't know nothing, with players like Djemba Djemba, Titus Bramble and Lee Carsley playing last season how can Igor be voted the worst.

Rob ya goi overboard there lad.

To slate Riise and praise Biscan is a bit erm.... silly?

Biscan is a central midfielder not a centre half, he's not as bad as people say he is but i doubt he's good enough for the first team. Only time will tell.

if only between both, then Hamann should absolutely start, end of. Remember, it's EUROPEAN, lad, not FA cup. If necessary, Biscan can only come when the result or position is already secured, or Hamann gets injured or tired.
