Im not slating Hyypia (how could I hes been class for years), just simply stating the fact that up until December of last season Biscan was our best defender and was putting in better performances than him up until that point. We saw after the turn of the year that Biscan is obviously no centre half with some particularly poor displays (especially against tottenham away). But when you see him in his correct position you can see he has the potential to become a good player, alright maybe not a guranteed starter but he is a player i am glad to have in our squad. I just hope for him that he makes a good go of it next season and maybe we will start to see the best of Igor.

Rafa is giving Igor a chance and I'm made up for the lad because he took a lot of stick for other players appathy last season.

he looks strong and not bad in tackling...makes some decent runs and produces good touches as well...he's not that good yet but definitely not the worst. Get behind the lad guys!

I feel a bit sorry for Biscan like a few other plays, the only player that has been given a proper chance by GH was Diouf and we all know he wasn't worth £10m :(

Pace don't count for much when you can't control a ball...........???

What is this sudden change of heart on Biscan all about ? On the basis of a couple of unimportant friendlies we now want him in the heart of the Liverpool midfield ???

Yeah Dalglish, I think you missed something. Biscan has really been impressive so far in CM, every game he played in pre-season. And suddenly he can dribble! I am quite shocked actually when I watched how he played. I suspect aliens abducted the real biscan and the one we see is an fake clone replacement.

****** aside, i think Biscan and Hamann are both good. I can't decide who should start along Gerard, and that's great news!

i know there only friendlies but the most he can do is perform well in them, and to be honest he's been 1 of our best players in pre-season i think he should be along side sg untill we buy our creative midfeild player

Ahead of Hamann?

I agree with giving players a chance but to replace genuine class with a lad who's only half decent and MIGHT have untapped potential is a bit far fetched imo.

If and I mean If he does the business then he deserves to be picked as its the best 11 currently we want on the pitch.

I still have my doubts with Biscan and is Benny bigging him up for sale but if he does the biz he deserves first team slot

You have to be curious about someone who suddenly become a Vieira in only a couple of games. Maybe it's not impossible he's now an 'almost vieira', but it's wiser to wait and see for some more matches. (don't forget he played as much as 29 performances last season, okay he was mispositioned, but it wasn't about position, he simply couldn't kick the ball)
Of course, We all would love to see a new player namely "IGOR BISCAN" being on fire in the next season.
