I do not think Rafa should be sacked at all......my opinion is that the current problems are a result of Pako's departure....I think Rafa needs a decent coach to come in and replace him or even kiss and make up with pako if that is possible, I think his influence has been underestimated.
Rafa to definitly stay for future reference....although I hope he starts to rotate perhaps a little bit less soon (hides!!)

Well, it's like this: we're playing bollox and somehow managing to avoid defeat. Good form will come. It has to. When it does, we will be challengers again, and maybe United and Arsenal will have bad patches like we are now. They have to drop points, because in my opinion, they are not better sides than we are. Look on the bright side - at least Torres is scoring. :D

I like to finish by adding, i am a liverpool supporter not a rafa supporter (unlike some ppl here)...

You can aswell fúck off. If I support Rafa is because I think he's good for Liverpool. If I don't want him out, is because I come from a country a "sacking" is a normal thing to do too early, and I know that's not good for the club.

Don't defend your points saying the fans that don't agree with you are less fans. And if you want to gloat about how good fan you are, go to the stadium like Dalglish and others, and then do it. Not from your sofa.  :no

Serious over reaction in this post matey.

Just to pick you up on this point.

Voronin has scored goals, Babel and Levia are kids and the other youngsters he bought are too young.

Banyoun has played well also.

Don't do it, :D , No!, don't do it!

I want this thread opened and in my bookmarks for future reference, I want to know who openly says Rafa out, who says it's a joke because they are not too sure of saying it openly, and who still trusts the manager in a bad patch.

My position is well known
:D

:D

Ive no intention of closing it. (Thought about re-editing the title though) The sharks circling and the panic button being primed is a suitable pair of illustrations to show exactly what the current status quo is within the great majority of our supporters. They are well within their rights to bemoan the fact as well. Sometimes humour/sarcasm can be used to diffuse a situation - and in fairness, although there is a very real cause for venting off steam due to some dire turn outs of late. I still feel the call for the managers head is quite utterly premature. For now.

We say no player is bigger than the team and the same goes for the manager. As hard as it may be to admit it given what hes accomplished it would sound ludicrous to sack him but you never know.

Don't have to be so civil dude....rafa is getting battered in RAWK forum......... The last time that forum was so anti-manager was during houllier's last season....

Well put, Sabre. People have short memories. Come May, who's to say we won't be lifting major honours? I look at the bigger picture, rather than the image that is being painted now. There's a fair while to go yet.

I think Rafa is having a bad run of form, like a striker not scoring goals almost. He has lost his trusted number 2 and is struggling to get it right...I think if the backroom gets sorted and he can just ease the pressure on himself with a win or two then he'll feel more comfortable and as a result the team will benefit.
Talk of sackings and new managers is in my opinion daft, he has brought us so far and in my opinion only he is very capable of taking us further.

I beg to differ...... By all means buy young players for the future. But also take care of the present.......

Only Torres is a improvement....

Voronin & babel is not an improvement for bellamy......

He buys another CM (levia for 8 million) but does nothing for the left wing and CB positions....

Now we are buying the price for it.

Hyppia is passed it. He can manage a game once in a while..but ask him to play a few games in a row and he struggles.

As for riise...for all the drive and passion he brings to the side...he is not a LW a top european club will have in its team....

not good enough...

Its not the result i am worried about...its the performance.

Something is wrong.....

Too right, we look really half @rsed

Something has to be done, I'm worried about the fixtures coming up

I'm glad we have an international break, the only problem is...the players won't be together to sort the sh!t out!

Am I missing something here? I thought a football team was comprised of more than a manager. Rafa seems to be taking most of the abuse and it's not f*cking on. Sure he's made some strange decisions of late, but lets face it, people, our players are NOT doing the man, and us as supporters, justice whatsoever. Regardless of who Rafa selects, you should at least expect them to show some kind of desire for the club and shirt. We've got very little of it, bar a few players. All I can say is thank God for Torres, or we'd be well f*cked. Our so called best players just arn't performing, and that's the bottom line of it.
