or....

Fulham at home 6-0 (Eto'o hat trick, Henry with 2 and Tevez with the other), and then we all live happilly ever after as Newkit promotes peace and love and understanding.

well theres two ends of the scale st mic

but would settle for 5-0 and teves setting eto and henry up  :nod

To be honest, a nice crappy mid table side, at home, would do me, someone like man city or boro. I hate playing newly promoted teams at the start of the season, especially away from home.

Got a feeling we'll be away first up again though, probably up north somewhere. Boro will do me fine. :D

boro? u dont remember last time weplayed them at theres opening day? 2 seasons ago. they were the most defensive team ever. at hoe, first game of season and at 0-0 they were playing the ball into thecorners to time waste.

absolute worst performance by a premiership team i have ever seen!!!

i reckon we'll be home to pompey

I think it will be sheffield utd away on the opening day again, however the fixture initially read West Ham away but then west ham are relegated and Sheffield reinstated. :D :D

could happen

There will be a 21 team Premiership next season because Sean Bean said so.

In all seriousness it could work. The Coca Cola Division Two Championship League would have to go down to 23 teams.

Four teams from the Prem would go down (probably Fulham, Sheffield United, Wigan and Derby) and three would be promoted from the CCDTCL (probably Watford, West Brom and Southampton) to rebalance the leagues for the season after next.
