Premiership fixtures 2009/10

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby stmichael » Mon Jun 15, 2009 10:44 am

Announced on Wednesday.

So who does everyone reckon we'll end up playing on the first day then? Whoever it is, you can guarantee it'll be an away game. I can't remember the last time we actually had a home game on the first day of the season. We also seem to play a lot of newly promoted sides on the first day of the season for some reason.

Anyway lets hope Sir Alex draws us a decent opening few games whereby we can get off and running. :D

I'll go for Burnley away.

I thought they were released in July ???

anyway I reckon it'll be either a newly promoted side away or away against a team that finished low down in the table

They're our bogey team. Played them six times in the Premiership under Rafa and never beaten them.

Precisely why we'll get them.

In any event, you can be certain it will be "away to ___ "
