How fixed are these fixtures? Away on the first day AGAIN to Spurs whilst United are home to Birmingham and Chelsea home to Hull.

The xmas period looks pretty decent as well but looks like we could have some tricky games around the same time as CL knockouts

Agree with that mate, most of the fixtures around xmas are fairly local

For once I’m happy with the fixtures

well i think thats a pretty decent set of fixtures... no hard runs of games at the moment (till things get moved around) -

so its hard to complain too much, but an away start for the 6th successive year - Utd get a 4th successive home start

for info opening day fixtures:

2008/09

Sunderland 0 - 1 Liverpool
Manchester United 1 - 1 Newcastle United

2007/08

Aston Villa 1 - 2 Liverpool
Manchester United 0 - 0 Reading

2006/07

Sheffield United 1 - 1 Liverpool
Manchester United 5 - 1 Fulham

2005/06

Middlesbrough 0 - 0 Liverpool
Everton 0 - 2 Manchester United

2004/05

Tottenham Hotspur 1 - 1 Liverpool
Chelsea 1 - 0 Manchester United

2003/04

Liverpool 1 - 2 Chelsea
Manchester United 4 - 0 Bolton Wanderers

2002/03

Manchester United 1 - 0 West Bromwich Albion
Aston Villa 0 - 1 Liverpool

I bet you the Spurs game is a 5.30 on the Saturday. No doubt the Mancs against Brum will be the 4.00 on the Sunday even though it will be an absolutely dire spectacle.
