Rafas first league game for us was away to Spurs five years ago.

Cisse on his debut and a late Defoe goal

Mancs have been at home 10 times in the last 12 years.

Feckin Everton always at home first aswell  :glare:

Win the first game against the Spurs (away), and we have an advantage against the other top tree. Psychically.

Me brothers just told me on the phone we've got Tottenham away first up. He reckons the Mancs have got a really favourable fixture list (if that's possible).

No surprise we were handed an away fixture first but the early run of games looks very good for us.  Hopefully we can build the momentum before we face Chelsea and the Mancs in October.  The festive schedule looks a bit more challenging, with a match with Arsenal sandwiched in just before Christmas again (hopefully we'll have coasted through the CL group stages by that point) and a trip to Villa Park just before the New Year.  Traveling to Stoke in January gives me a few nightmares for some reason :D and the late clash with Chelsea in May looms large over the run-in but otherwise, I think it's a very favourable fixture list for us. :nod

?? What don't you like about it, i reckon we should be looking for at least 7 wins in the first 8 and if we can beat spurs then 8 out of 8. I like it, I like it a LOT.  :buttrock
