See what I mean?

No facts to back yourselves up, so you attempt to belittle me.

Read the first five decent pages of this thread lando, our points were proven there I for one am not ghoing to repeat myself to you. Read the f.ucking thread ! You may also see some objective views from posters like Mick and Scottbot.

Also you'll do well in noting that their was NO abuse what so ever in this thread, and Sabre was amongst the discussion too he wasnt hounded atall, people were fairly puttng there views accross of course until page six where the high and mighty self confest funny guy waded in with his usual tirade of abusive, and inevitably from there the thread went to the dogs, because as usuall if someone doesnt agree with the 'funny guy' especially about his pin-up Xabi Alonso all hells broken loose and expected rude outburts from the self proclaimed funny guy, ha that statement alomost has an air of Jose Mouriniho about it.

Your a f.ucking idiot.

Awww - did I strike a nerve there?

What is it with you lot? You spout b*llocks then cry when someone points it out?

Pathetic.  :no

Whats the matter Lando got bad re-growth ?  :D

You f.ucking tool, the debate was going okay until you waded in with your usual abuse.

Your not funny, your immature, infact your one of the biggest ti.ts I have ever come accross.

Your eptomise the typical mouthy gangster keyboard kid, becuase your hard behind a monitor.

A true f.ucking  bellend.

:oh:

:D

i like the 'you spout b*llocks and then cry when someone points it out' comment, while lando is spouting b*llocks and then crying when its pointed out      :D

i wonder if dawson could get us odds on lando exploding before next season starts

Where did I cry, Peewee? The way I see it - you don't like being told when you're wrong. Had that not been the case, this arguement would never have happened, as you'd have simply stated "I disagree because..." (and given valid reasons), rather than try and take the p*ss out of me. Surely the fact I am an established member on here earned me the right to avoid the sh*t usually reserved for WUMs? If I remember rightly, my initial comment wasn't even aimed at you, but was merely a statement.

I gave reasons for my beliefs, and initially attempted to do it within the confines of a friendly debate. But as soon as you pushed it, I pushed right back, and you didn't like that, did you?

If you want to give it, you've surely got to take it, too? I'm still here - I'm not backing down as I believe I am right. That is my right, just as much as it is yours. (But I am still waiting for valid reasons WHY you believe what you do, despite your earlier statement that you are "Big on facts".)
I am guessing that all your life you've had people backing down to you because you've got an aggressive nature, and enough bullsh*t to baffle brains. I'm also guessing that the first time someone DID stand up to you, you got booted from the force and decided to run away to the far east.
Maybe I'm miles off, but that certainly fits with your character. That's what I'd put my money on.

But still - back to the subject.

Alonso - you're wrong, and only time and a possible transfer will prove that.

We'd definately miss Alonso in my opinion as he's one of our best players. That said, whether or not he should be allowed to leave largely depends upon our capability in the transfer market. If, for instance we need to sell Alonso in order to pay for Samuel Eto, or alternatively we can sign Darren Bent and keep Xabi, then I've got to be honest and say that the need for a really World Class striker would probably lead me to cash in on the Spaniard. He is after all one of the few players we have who would command a huge fee (in excess of fifteen million pounds, Gerrard and possibly Carragher are the only other two) and if we really need the cash, then out of the three he is the one who would appear to be most expendable to me.

My hope of course is that we will have the funds to stregthen in one position without the need to weaken in another, but if we haven't then somebody is going to have to make a very hard call indeed. One thing is for certain, we really could with a top class striker of the Henri/Eto level and if it comes down to it, we won't be selling Gerrard or Carragher to fund it.

Thats a quote from Mick and that probably best sums up what I and others think about this thread and Alonso.

I think if Barca take in Alonso and give Eto to Liverpool, both clubs will benefit because Barca need World class Midfield and Liverpool need to World Class Striker. Rafa go for it .... Good deal ...

Yeah but Barca want Alonso AND thirty million squid in exchange for Eto'o.

I don't think Eto'o is worth THAT much.

Short memory then? Or do things end with the locking of a thread?

I have read every post in this thread, and your reasons for selling Alonso are not facts. They are opinions.

So I say again - put up, or shut up.

And I am not the self-professed anything, you idiot. I was merely using another FACT to counter your arguement.

It really is quite simple - you accuse me of something (in this particular instance of "not being funny"), and I counter that with the fact that I was voted "funniest member" 2 years running.

Is this not a good counter, then? Does this not disprove your theory beyond all doubt?

And BigMick HAS discussed this topic, yes. He himself would agree, though, that he is not an authority on football, as has so far been proven by his "I know it's early, but..." series of threads, which are, by his own admission, hit and miss.

Oh, and just to further my point (don'tcha just LOVE facts?), Bigmick also stated a while ago that I was funny enough to be on TV.

Your move, c*nt...  :eyebrow

Kunt, thats what football is about opinions. Those were my opinions I brought to the thread not facts I'd rather from time to time make my own mind up on the game.

How can we possibly give Facts to as to why Alonso should be sold, we can only give opinions, like you cant give Facts to why Alonso should stay only opinions

Where have you used facts to get your point accross kunt ?

Oh .... and Mick said your funny enough to be on tv did he .... oh it must be true
