Lads are firing tonight!! We should be up at least 2-0 at this stage.

More of the same in the next half boys. Not much that Barca can change, they came out with an attacking lineup, and they have been rendered ineffective. They only have one defensive midfielder on the pitch right now. If they move Marquez out, this match will be even more for the taking!

Excellent first half, we are well set up and well organised. We have had 10 shots to 1 and are unlucky not to be 2 or 3 up to be honest, would have been nice but so far so good. Let's just hope we can hang on!

A very good first half, closing down everything that comes across the halfway line. Losy count at the amount of attempts at goal.

When it comes to football we are a better team. Rafa is light years beyond Rijkaard tactically.

With Barcelona you never know, they have huge quality, but if we do our defensive stuff as we use to, this game is ours. I'm happy.

Half time wistle.

Very well played so far. Tactically outwitted Barcelona. Pressed harder. worked harder. Looked more threatening. Hit the bar twice. Forced some great reaction saves from Valdez. But it's still 0-0 and there's 45 minutes to go.

We need more of the same, but I think we also need a goal ourselves. The way we played and lost against utd still lurks in the back of my mind, and i know this is a different game, under different circumstances. we all know it is very possible to dominate a game in possesion and with shots, but lose at the death. We need another goal, they are still a very dangerous team, and we need to take our chances.

oh and carra..... :bowdown

We have to think about getting Momo out at some point. He is playing marvelous, but we can not afford to go down to 10 men. Gutted he is going to miss the next match, but we have to put this one in the bag first.

I couldnt bare another 45 minutes of this, why cant we score a feckin goal.
If we get a sucker punch the same as against the mancs, I am personally going to Melwood to tw@t the players everywhere.
We should always be winning please God let us win please.
These arnt going to be this bad the 2nd half I dont care who scores just score a feckin goal you 70 thousand pound a week b@stards, dont yous know what yous put us through.
