I'd agree if Halsey had reffed the Bolton v Liverpool match, but since he didn't, I'd just file it under "something a ref has said that he shouldn't have done".
ah ok I thought he did ref the match, I suppose he would be fired instantly if that was the case. He must ref some bolton games though.
