You don't have things in perspective though. You're annoyed about a pointless friendly which was played to give youngsters and fringe players as well as first teamers a chance of gain fitness and it was a chance for Rafa to try out new things and the way you are acting is like one of those loser goths who thinks being dumped or having a slight set back is the end of the world.
You think what you like, but if you'r getting angry over a pointless game of pool with your mates and pointless football matches I'll surprised you have any friends, that's not an insult that's a fact. It's nice to be competitive but beong overally competitive is also a sign of a loser.
So you can carry on getting worked up about the loss, I won't, I don't want to give myself a heart attack.
I didnt say i got angry if i lost a game of pool, i said it bothered me.
It doesnt surprise me in the slightest that you could go home and not be @rsed if you were tw'tted in a friendly 5-0, i dont know you but by your posts i can see that your obviously not passionate and can forget about things when you get home.
Thank f'ck you are not a liverpool player then...cos one bit of comfort i have is that i know the likes of Carragher and Gerrard (no matter what they say to the press) will be hurting about this result, even if they were not on the field at the time the goals started going in.
I am not smashing in doors or anything, but i am not happy, there is a difference and just because i dont take defeats with a pinch of salt like the majority of posters on tonight it doesnt mean that you should try and make me out to be some over-reacting t!t.
As i keep saying i do think we are on the road top great things, but defeats like this are not acceptable. Playing the right side in the last friendly would of prevented this imo, and tbh playing Reina and Riise from the start as well. Why play fringe players for the sake of it ? We need the players to be forming an understanding in the few friendlies we have.
Ace i can understand your frustrations but we have to give Rafa some credit for giving the fringe players a chance to impress while no points or prizes are up for grabs. If he didnt alot of us would be giving him a bit of stick for not giving them a go.

Assuming you can play football, you are having a pre-season friendly with your sunday league team, you get tw@tted 5-0.
Would you think ah f'ck it, i feel fitter and we've learnt alot in this game, or would you be p!ssed off and embarassed.
I know which one i would be.
Keep spouting sh!t about goths and the end of the world lad, i know i still have things in perspective.
As i said to AB i am still confident about the season, but its absolute b@llocks to say a result like that bears no significance at all, as it was just a friendly.
I cant be bothered with insults but that is a losers attitude, as i said thats not meant as an insult, but winners want to win anything they compete in....be it a game of pool or a football match.

Yeah i agree with what your saying except for the goth bit, the people who act like everything is the end of the world are usually called emos, goths are different
Emo's are the 21st century goth. Believe me twenty years ago it was goths that were crying in their cereal bowls about being dumped and the world being full of conformists.
Wtf are you talking about ?
I am talking about LFC and you keep coming out with utter sh!te.
You constantly talk rubbish, have little or no feelings for the club and come on trying to make me look like a n@b.
After your statement about Liverpool losing not making a difference to you, your opinion as a so called fan doesnt bother me, but trying to bring other strange goth things into it is just stupid.

Says it all really, thats why debating it with you is a waste of time. Liverpool are just another of your hobbies...like playing chess or going trampoling...whatever sh!te you do.
To me they are more, i am a fan not a follower.
We have been through this before and wont again, you enjoy your brew, i'll enjoy my ale.

They matter. Otherwise we wouldn't bother and just train until the first competitive match. I mean, if they really were so inconsequential why would you risk injuries (or as the Mancs found out tonight, suspensions) for nothing?
So what do they offer? A chance for the team to gel as a unit in an actual game against real opponents rather than in yet another training ground kick-about.
Tonight we witnessed a Liverpool team that has not yet gelled as a unit--a source of some concern given that their next chance at it is in a high-stakes CL qualifier. Here's where I think Ace is spot on. It's our last friendly before real competition and yet the likes of Traore and Diao are still getting a game? Come on.
Now, don't get me wrong. You have to make substitutions and plenty of them in these games to prevent injuries etc. But, at this late stage, the subs should have some hope of playing against MH or Chelsea next week.
Ultimately, the scoreline is an embarassing aberration that flatters them greatly--3 goals conceded in the last ten minutes is pish-poor defending but still will not happen very often with a team of our quality.
More worrying for me is that the lads--particularly the defense--appears not to have properly gelled in a match environment yet. Let's hope they have some amazing training sessions before Wednesday!
