Salif "The Chopper" Diao just went into a challenge wrecklessly, he was lucky he didn't get sent off. I'm sorry but what is Rafa doing playing players that won't feature at all in pre-season friendlies? People wonder why at times I call Rafa thick? :no

We're probably not doing too well in pre season because the lads are being worked so hard in training that there exhausted, we're having lots more training sessions. The players are just knackered, and so they're not doing so well in matches. It'll all pay off when the season begins proper, we'll be ready.. This run will lure the other teams into a false sense of security too!

You might not be but I am - 3 defeats in a row is not going to boost anyones confidence!

Its not really about confidence in friendlys though is it, bad results arent really going to lower the players confidence because the matches dont mean anything and they are putting hardly any effort into getting the result. Id be more worried about our goalscoring confidence though, we arent scoring many goals and i hope it doesnt effect the lads going into the season.
