About Dirk Kuyt.....i'v been overly critical of the lad and i think i should give him his chance....i'd love to see him play for liverpool... amazing talent from what i'v heard... dont get me wrong, i'd still rather we get trezeguet....but i think kuyt will be no short of brilliant if he comes too ! get em rafa...stack em up  !

You cant be serious, kuyt is not a brilliant player. From what i've seen of him all he would be is an addition to the squad and not an asset. As for trezeguet, he would be an aswesome signing.  Yoou made a good point there.

We should be attracting the best players in the first place and not trying to turn good players into great players. We may not have the money that Chelsea do but the bottom line is were a bigger side.

After winning the champions league i expected to see the best players at Liverpool, maybe time will tell.

you know what you are don't you? ???

What am i doing? I'm a huge liverpool fan but i'm only saying what i believe. Like i've said Pennant is a good signing but how much is he going to play for us this season. I would have jus prefered someone more recognised like Duff for example.

Personally i am very happy to see Jermaine at the club, he is exactly what we needed a good, quick natural right winger also he is english and still only 23. £6.7mil may be a little over what i would have liked but we have him now and we should all get behind him and hope he produces the same amount of crosses (as last season) for the likes of Crouchy, Fowler and Kewell.
On the Kuyt issue i think we already have enough firepower up front with Bellamy, Fowler and Crouch also Garcia and Kewell i think we shouldn't pursue him especially for 12m or whatever for a player who looked far from impressive in the world cup so what if he scores goals in Holland. Anyone remember Kezman

lsn mate...we dont have enough firepower upfront...for all i know....if we sttart the season with the squad we have in our hands...no f.ing way we'r winning that league title...dont mean to sound negative or nothing.... just stating the obvious...our forward line is by far the weakest of all four going for the title this season... check out arsenal:Henry...VanPersie...Reyes...or Manutd:Rooney...VanNistelr...and chelsea are in a whole different league of u ask me ! with crouch and fowler and bellamy, our forward line is looking solid at best! we need firepower and as highly as i rate trezeguet...u guys dont seem to realize how great a player he is... ffs..i just mention trezeguet on a forum and everyone starts talking about how rafa wants kuyt and how the italian league is a nany league if compared to th EPL....WTF ?! the italian league is the toughest in the world and if ur cable doesnt show th italian league then u might as well not comment on how italian players cant handle the tackles in the english league ! Spare pace and off the ball runs and the italian league is more physically demanding than the EPL in every aspect ! Trezeguet would be huge...kuyt would do the job....just get a forward who can net the ball and ill be more than happy !

I'm personally quite excited about Pennan'ts signing. I think, much like Bellamy, now that he is surrounded by world class players, he will start to develop into one.

absolute nonsense. some fans are never frigging happy.

give me bellamy over the likes of schevchenko any day of the week. at least bellamy's proven at premier league level. also, with van horseface on his way out, show me a better finisher in any of those teams than robbie fowler?

manure at this time have a forward line of rooney, solskjaer, saha and rossi. that's hardly frightening is it? arsenal don't play with out and out strikers and chelsea have drogba upfront the majority of the time.

Whats with all the negativity here. We should be happy, out ofg all the big clubs we have strenghthened the most.
I just hope now the new boys gell well together and get of to a good start.

Im sure with Fowlers help Bellamy will excell.

Aurelio looked good against Crewe and Gonzales has apparantly been flying in training.

One person i particular im looking to stake a regular place is Agger.

Duff = Left winger
Pennant = Right winger

Liverpool = 4/5 players capable of holding the left wing
Liverpool = 1 (now 2) players capable of holding the right wing

Fairly easy choice really

IF they do selll him ! and robbie fowler was a great netter of the ball...but dont u think he's a couple of years past his prime ?! would make a great squad member tho ! arsenal dont play no out and out striker and still score more goals than we do ... what do u have to say about that ?!
