I was not pleased when we signed Peter Crouch. One year later he is still with us, and I am still not pleased.

I don't care what everyone else says, but he doesn't score enough goals nor get enough assists.
All he is, is a nice guy with some quality, however that quality is not enough to play for LFC.

Right so attackers are there just to score goals? It doesn't matter how else they contribute or what else they bring, its just about goals? Is that right?

cisse is one of my favourite players he is funny has class hair styles can dance does class goals and can run 100 metres in 9.7 seconds he is class y sell him he is one of the best strickers we have bought and u gotta give him a chance coz he broke his leg dontt forget so we have bin through alot with him :;):

I wondered if Houllier might try it on. It looked like he'd have gone for £8m had it not happened, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if one of the interested clubs offered £4m for him while he's injured.

And we might be over a barrel slightly if such an offer came in.

Again, no daft f*cker will buy anyone with the injury Djibril has sustained, but if hell freezes over before the end of the transfer window, I'd take £4m tbh.

He'll cost us about the same in wages over the course of the next year anyway.

I am soooo tired of your bullshit. You haven't a clue. Liverpool is a much better team with Crouch in the lineup. We score more goals collectively, we retain possession better, and we are not as vulnerable. Harry Redknapp said that Peter Crouch was good enough to build a team around. Benitez also rates him highly as does Sven Goran Erikson. I suppose you know more than these managers.

99%.......? that’s ridiculous! Many people were vocal in their disapproval, but anyone that knew their football could see that he would at least be adequate. People that don’t know very much about football found it very easy to disapprove of this transfer due to the fact that Crouch is shiit on championship manager and he is not “world class”. If you go back and read the threads, you will find that there were not that many prominent members on here that really thought it was going to be a disaster. Admittedly there were a few (and they had their reasons), but most of the people that did had no reason apart from he wasn’t a big name and wasn’t Ronaldo. Most of these people didn’t really know very much anyway. I remember there were several members (including myself) that were very happy with the signing of Peter Crouch.
Sorry for the rant, but I really hate it when people say that Crouch’s quality (that suddenly has suddenly appeared from nowhere

) has only arrived now. He was a good player with the same attributes, before he came to Liverpool, just people didn’t watch him or dismissed him to easily.
