Watching France v China.  Just started.  Cisse isnt going anywhere.  He just took a horrible fall, leg looks broken.  He will be out for months or considering its the same leg it could be his career.  Trust me, I will be surprised if their isnt a major break.

It looked terrible, it buckled as he was running (following a slight knock from the Chinese player), it was swinging as he fell. Sickening. You've got to feel so sorry for the guy.

I can't believe it, looks like Marseille won't be buying him now, he might not even play again imo, couldn't believe it when I saw the replay :(

I know he was going to leave but you have to feel for the lad

Very very similar to the fall Henrik Larsson took while at Celtic.  Looks just like it and we all know how bad tht break was.  But Henrik came back better than ever so it doesnt mean his career could be done.

Considering Cisse is still on the sideline in a strecther and hasnt been taken straight to hospital means it might not be as bad as first feared.  He looks pretty controlled about the situation.

They've just shown cisse on the side of the pitch still being treated. On the plus side he looks to be a bit more calmer now but it doesn't look good that he is STILL being treated on the side of the pitch (not wanting to move him possibly??). To me it looked like it was the same exact point up his leg that may be broken in which case you'd have to question him playing top flight footie again.

It goes without saying that any move will now be off for the foreseeable future and if he does play again a loan move will be the only route out of anfield for him to prove his fitness before he signs for anybody.

Naturally I send Djib my best wishes as he has suffered terrible luck in the past couple of years.

From what ive heard it was fu*kin awful.

As you know im as big a critic of his as any but that is awful, just before the World Cup.

If it is broke you wonder what kind of future he has.

Im watching the game, and cisse fell horribly! i don't think its his leg, it is kind of like his ankle is broken.

I don't think it is worst than the one he had.

Its not confirmed as broken yet but as you say he didnt look like he was in too much pain on the side. Perhaps he was in complete shock.

I wonder if this will affect his transfer. We could either be stuck with him or have to sell him for even less.
My new blog for my upcoming holiday.

since he broke his leg last would have liverpool been able to insure it??? if not that would be a kick in the teeth as liverpool would have to keep paying his wages.

but im sure the insures would have to comprimise and liverpool and the insurance company would have come to a fair agreement.

Poor Cisse, i feel for him i realy do.

no-one deserves the sort of luck he has had over the last couple of seasons....like him or not he broke his leg, came back to a team where he didnt "fit" in, and now breaks his leg again, possibly, just before a world cup. sux. hope he gets better soon.......it took an age to get him to the dressing room, so it does not look as serious as last time...

This heavily affects our transfer strategy.

We'll need to prioritise, maybe we can only afford one £8M+ signing = striker
and then settle for Pennant? ?
